Did I write that Contador should have taken over? Or that it is illogical that he rides this way?
No I didn't.
It's perfectly logical and he has every right to ride the way he does. It still doesn't mean I have to find that great and awesome and fantastic. I find that way of winning, staying in the wheel the entire time and then finally countering them close to the finish, when there is not muc hrisk anymore, boring, ugly, and I don't prefer it. Same way why I don't like Purito and Valverde much because 90% of their wins are in the same fashion. Some people love it, I despise it.
I understand riding like that when you are a leader, but that still doesn't mean I have to like it because it tactically makes sense.
In what way that deserves the title of being a troll, I have no idea. But that's Riis123 logic. He likes to insult people as soon as possible when he doesn't agree with their opinions
Conta was most atacking rider in that tour..who lost a time because of two spaniards who is playing idiot against each other. Remind me last time worlds.
Today only possible tactic was just follow a Froome (failed in that one at Dauphine, but GT is different race). Final attack..well. Froome wanted a stage win with dropping Bertie.
Berti alibi was..why not finish a tour with style.
About Riis... just ignore this guy.

I don't mind Contador wheelsucking for once, cause he's the leader in the GC. Normally he is one of the more attacking riders and I like that. Also some unexpected moves very often.

Lol did he move from the back of peloton the whole 3weeks ,what a waste of a rider
He did.. Wait I'm gonna go for a research a bit of his performance in mountain stages.

Barguil is my sensation in that Vuelta. Also I am happy to see Gesink back..(at least true next hit for that poor guy).
Surprised that Contador was that strong (seems like knee injury recovery speed was a small bluff.
Very surprised how strong Valverde was..
Aru who actually did not had bad days. On he's max at every stage ..few stage wins..great tour. bit disappointed that Rodriques was not quite there. He was in great condition..using TdF to ride into form. Looks like he's best days are over.
Still best Vuelta I have been witnessed.
Apparently Dan Martin has been on antibiotics since he cut his leg in the revine crash a week ago. Perhaps the lack of proper digestion from it has hurt his form.
After a week on antibiotics since my crash, sad to have my form blunted. Im very very tired. 1 day togo. Hoping to enjoy it!

Also, great Vuelta by Sicard. 13th in the GC. Look's like he's gaining some good form after those wasted years at Euskadi.
Agree with this! It was a good solid performance from him so hopefully he can build on this next season, no reason why he couldn't pull out a top 10 at a Giro or Vuelta.

Dan Martin hasn't finished a GT in his career, without experiencing a health problem, yet. Luckily, this time they were minor enough to allow him to finish inside top10 in GC.
Dennis crashed on the line as well.
Heavy rain recently it seems, I can't find whether Malori already was affected or not. Assuming he wasn't, ideal for Degenkolb.
