I'm thrilled to have a look at Scott Sunderland and what he can do in such a long stage race. He surprised many with a win in the long 1-day race at Melbourne recently, so he might have adjusted more to road races.
It wasn't a surprise at all that Sunderland won the Melbourne to Warrnambool, he was one of the big favourites to win a sprint if the field came together which is what played out. He might do well at Taihu against that type of opposition but will always struggle in stage races as he just doesn't have the stamina.

Verschoor's the kind of rider that seems to be able to come 6-10th regardless of the opposition. He might be able to win a couple of races if he didn't have such a long season (He started in San Luis in January) |

Depends on whether they can sneak a Milan - San Remo wildcard again |

Zanotti wins the stage from a breakaway. Mareczko keeps the leader's jersey.

Impressive number of wins. Only 21 years old.
Worth watching perhaps? |

Very similar to Guardini (not just in type of the races he wins, but also the sprinting style). If he can build up a good engine, he has an incredible speed.

Also similar to Guardini in the sense both can't pass a climb. |
