Fair enough, i think we all can agree on that kittel is currently the best sprinter in the world, but it really tends to piss me off when i see peter sagan having better sprinting stats than kristoff, i really hope they do something about it
He did get 2 sprint stage wins, (tdf) and 3 2nd places, so i really thinks he deserves better stats than his earlier

Of course Kristoff deserves better stats than he had

I feel Kristoff should be up with Greipel in sprint with lower (Acc) but better (Sta),(Rec) and (Hil). Also think Navardauskas should get better sprint after two third places, Coquard better at sprinting and Hill.
Rojas deserves a upgrade in Hil and Mo.

Kittel is the best now.
No, Kittel is simply better than the bests. |

Kittel should have 84, Cav 83 and Greipel and the rest lower than that. Kittel and Cav are a notch above the rest with Kittel showing to be the stronger(based on last year at least). |

How about the secondary hilly sprinters?
Van Avermaet deserves a rise after those top 3 finishes in the hilly stages where he beat sagan, alba, gallopin in the final sprints.
The day when bike gears turn automatic. = Why not now? They did it with cars.

I would suggest:
(I don't know what's the top stat in this year's db because I hadn't time to play it, but I guess 83)
Kittel 83
Cavendish-Greipel 82 (Cavendish showed that he's a notch under the Cav of 2008 'till 2012, while Greipel won a lot this year, though this year's Tour I think it was his team's fault...)
Kristoff 81

What about Tony Martin? I know you guys normaly don't go to 84-85, but with his dominance, I think a TT stat of 84 should be acceptable. He's not only supposed to win time trials, he's supposed to win them with a huge lead as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I'd agree on Martin 84, even 85. 2014 Martin and 2012 Wiggins without doubt 2 of the best time triallers ever. Would be great if Wiggins stopped pretending he can still win big stage races and got back near 2012 TT form. He's the only current rider who could get close to an on form TM. Cancellara is still too focused on road racing right now stand a decent chance.
Dumoulin should be up at 80-81 too, but not Phinney. I'd say Phinney/Malori/Dowsett/Dennis are more 78-79.
Edit.
What about RES stat for Martin? From his TDF breakaways i'd put that well up in the 80s too, and 2+ points above everyone else.

Phinney was injured after he won the US TT and hasn't been active recently so that's kind of tough to judge.

Dumoulin never beat guys like Phinney or Malori. He should be at 79 no more

He did beat Cancellara
and Phinney last year
If Dumoulin is 79, what do you suggest for Dowsett/Dennis then?

Should De Marchi get a stats upgrade due to his consistent break away involvement lately and his strong climbing in doing so? |
