This is more for Story thread, but you all know that Radenska is Slovenian team and that seems to keep my motivation for it. However, since i now got accepted to MG i am slightly losing my motivation once again.
I am pretty sure i had biggest motivation with Katusha so i can clearly say that i am guy for PT/PCT teams.

I've got a career already (Using the 2013 database) but I'm looking to start again. Not sure whether to go with a custom team at the PCT level (Maybe with Dani Moreno as leader in a Spanish+Italian squad) or to pick a team whos around that level.
Any suggestions for a PCT team that would be good at hilly one-day and week long stage races and have a chance of getting promoted (But are not one of the "favourites" )?
Thanks

I like making mid ability PCT custom teams, always gives me a chance to race smaller races and the occasion wildcard |

My favorite careers have always been either PCT or CT starts. I like doing WT ones occasionally but only for one season. Speaking of which...
Willier
First WT season is fairly tough. Competition is higher and it shows some of the weaknesses in the team. Luckily age is on our side, as is a brilliant DS
TDU - Nope, nada, nothing
Paris-Nice - Thomas got 2 seconds, 1 stage win and 3rd GC, great race that pretty much secures out WT spot for next season
Tirreno - Nope
MSR - Nope
E3 - Top 10 with Thomas
GW - Top 10 with Thomas
RVV - Top 10 with Thomas
Catalunya - Top 10 GC with CAS
Ewan yet to win a race. We've done pretty well in the non-WT races though with a number of podiums and wins. Its nice but doesn't help the key rankings.
Currently at the end of Pais Vasco so still a long way to go

I like doing careers with relatively strong PCT teams like Wanty, Leukemans and others certainly allow you to be strong in the races like the cobbles while de Greef and Seeldraeyers can go for the week long tours, I'd recommend it

I will post this here because I reckon it is something people may like to do themselves/ it is the only real place to write about PCM stuff.
So after TOTC has finished I put together 22 good looking sponsors together and assigned each a decent team. We will be competing in the same route as in TOTC4, which saw a great GC battle.

For one rider in each team I have given a boost of 6 points (5 in one stat and 1 in another).
Andy Schleck went from 65 in cob to 70/ Rebellin in hill 76-81!
GC battle looks to be between Wiggins/ Schleck but as I am going to win this time I am hoping I can do something with Festina.
It is a really fun format which I recommend you to try out, especially in a customer tour with cobble stages etc. |

Doing a Grand Tour with some random stages and random teams was something that appealed to me as well. It's just that the random team thing seems to be a lot work.
No Iberia though.

There wasn't room for Iberia.
The route can't be random Jesleyh. This route was a good one because the hard cobble stages (stages 4-6) came before the mountain stages and really destroyed the typical GC riders. ( So remember that if you get round to it.) |

Yeah, okay, not random ofc, but using random PCM stages to make it a nice GT
Any tips for making the teams quickly?

Just have a theme with each team I guess, then the riders will slot in no time.
Here we have an Estonian national team, Gerolsteiner (with some German tanks) and Festina (built for Valverde) as some examples. |

Going to give it a try now, The Rider
Any level of riders you could recommend me?
What is more fun for you? The real good riders participating and dominating? Or should ~ AVG 76 riders be dominant? or AVG 71 riders? You've reported both of the last two options, and are now playing with the first option, so you should know what's more fun

Started with a continetal team in the first season, signed a good talent a had a great season.
2013:

Winner of the Dutch National Championship in front of Mollema and Gesink
After winning the NC of the Netherlands, Garmin signed him for the next season but made him a stagair for the rest of the season.
3rd in a mountain stage in Vuelta Burgos behind Froome and Schleck
13th in Quest de Plouay
5th in GP Quebec
4th in GP Montreal
After a heroic World Championship he finished 7th.
and a few weeks later he had his first pro win in Lombardia after a late breakaway.
2014:
two podium place's in Paris-Nice
7th in Milano - San Remo
stage win in Pays Vasco and mountain jersey
7th in Amstel Gold Race
1st in Fleche Wallone
and than my computer crashed |

Indeed.
Question, is the 2014 V1 update playable for a long career? Because I see most teams have little national jerseys ready etc.
Problem is I can't play with 2013 teams anymore, I need to play with 2014 kits |

Yes, it sure is.
Don't forget that if you need specific NCs, you can add them during a career
So eventually, the important ones will be made, and if not, you can always request them at the graphic makers

You are quite right.
What about sponsors? Should I edit that teams don't change, or will they change to realistic sponsors (I see Coca Cola, Citigroup... are in there)?
So now I have to start thinking what career I'll play... Movistar, OPQS or Lotto, I'm thinking
Or Europcar. |

I see that you are used to those small DBs. This one has an amazing amount of cool sponsors in

Just wanted to win Paris-Roubaix for once in my life. So i created myself and made me a rider a la Cancellara and Boonen. The victory was sweet and i saw myself standing on the podium.
Life is great! |
