Suppose I can live with that then Pfft
Curious about the startlist. Schröder should be able to get a Top 3 here, though he was quite disappointing lately.

I can't believe that Daily survived that banana attack Pfft

No I in team krisa

SSJ2Luigi
something funny about Caja Rural and California

they scored points in stage 2 with a 6th place
they scored more points in stage 4 with a 3th place
they scored even more points in stage 8 with 1st place.

I found it a funny connection
if this was a GT in stage 16 they would score even much more points with a -2nd place Pfft

As you may have seen by visiting my team HQ I'm planning a little race series myself (inspired by Basque Country Series), which will only include domestiques/weak riders.

All information can be found here.

I would just like to hear if you are interested. Wink

Stage one

i.share.pho.to/dfe0df6a_o.png

i.share.pho.to/49db036d_l.png

BOTD; Kurri (AJW) first to attack. After 166km Hagg (TNE) and Thurau (EUC) join him up the road.

i.share.pho.to/17c3f072_l.png

150km to go there is a IS, Hagg takes it, the pack has more than 5 minute. Kurri decides not to sprint and is dropped by the front two.

i.share.pho.to/321f24c5_l.png

It's just two guys up front now, they have worked up a gap of around 9 minutes. Kurri is back into the peloton.

i.share.pho.to/b3a61dd2_l.png

The duties are shared by the teams in peloton with such an open field with main different potential winners so teams are looking to get involved. On today's stage in Norway there is extremely strong winds.

i.share.pho.to/fdf6b007_l.png

After many attacks and counter attacks, Hagg just pips Thurau to line and claims the first KoM points of the race.

i.share.pho.to/35ef08e3_l.png

We fast forward to 60km to go, nothing has really happened apart from the peloton slowly reeling the break back in. They have a 3'55" advantage.

i.share.pho.to/415323a4_l.png

It's Thurau that seems to have more of the energy at this stage. He takes the intermediate sprint with 40km to go.

i.share.pho.to/42d511d7_l.png

Hagg fights back by taking the last KoM of the day. The young NetApp rider will be in the mountain's jersey tomorrow. With 30km to go they have a 2'08" lead.

i.share.pho.to/9fa24699_l.png

We head into the last 20km. Fischer is laying down a deadly pace into a very strong wind. The peloton is strung out and cracks start to appear. Losando (KAT) is down by he is fine to carry on.

i.share.pho.to/90e9be36_l.png

The main group splits into 2 groups of 57, Van Hummel is caught out, so is Perez &Kluge, as is Nokkvason.

i.share.pho.to/9f7cd6e5_l.png

13km to go, early trains start to appear for Lotto & Katusha. Cristobal and Haussler on wheels. Break on 36".

i.share.pho.to/cfe2d50f_l.png

No hope left for the break with 10km. They get reeled in by the very fast approaching peloton.

i.share.pho.to/d4ebf74d_l.png

7.5km to go, Kolobnev keeps the pace going and the peloton splits again, there is just 21 riders left in the front group now. You can see the damage the wind has caused! Lobato (MOV) and Modolo (BAR) are caught out.

i.share.pho.to/08a1923e_l.png

5km to go Kolobnev peels off, Lowenherz takes it up, Katusha look well drilled.

i.share.pho.to/32558501_l.png

4km, it's a long line behind the Katusha train, in order behind Kristoff we have, Haussler, Cristobal Riquelme, Roelandts, Vantomme, Kakhi, Jungels and Schroder.

i.share.pho.to/8fbfa806_l.png

3km to go, Vicioso leads out there man Kristoff (and the line of sprinters!)

i.share.pho.to/d000d884_l.png

2km to go, Kristoff launches off very early!

i.share.pho.to/5a32fce8_l.png

Only Haussler, Cristobal Riquelme, Roelandts can match his speed, the winner will come from these four.

i.share.pho.to/a92e6ab5_l.png

Under the flamme rouge, Kristoff still leads and the formation is kept the same, it's like a team pursuit right now.

i.share.pho.to/c6ed0a3f_l.png

It's Roelandts that decides he has to make his move now, he come from out the slipstream and on the outside of Cristobal.

i.share.pho.to/cca7feda_l.png

Cristobal looses his legs all of the sudden, Haussler now opens in front of Roelandts but Kristoff is so strong!

i.share.pho.to/b29ac5a9_l.png

It's so so close but Kristoff manages to hang on it's an amazing sprint from him!

i.share.pho.to/32284a58_l.png

Kakhi came in 5th while Vantomme brought in the rest.

Shockingly, there is no time gaps from Kristoff to Pengda Jiao who finished in 115, amazing considering he finished about 3 minutes after the winner...

Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

something funny about Caja Rural and California

they scored points in stage 2 with a 6th place
they scored more points in stage 4 with a 3th place
they scored even more points in stage 8 with 1st place.

I found it a funny connection
if this was a GT in stage 16 they would score even much more points with a -2nd place Pfft

Modolo caught out in the wind. Oh well, this isn't a major race for us.

Oh, come on! There have been gaps, you can see that easily. But almost all the riders are granted same time. I hat that.. However, always complaining doesn't make things better.

What is more important: I decided to involve all World Tour Teams in my series and I PMed the Pro Continental managers about if they want to join in. I will see how many replies I get, so then will be decided if we need to mix up teams (which probably won't happen). By the way, most likely the AVG max. goes up to 70 again by this.

Argos will race, we have many many riders 70 and under

Those time gaps that aren't there in PCM are just so ridiculous! Great sprint by Kristoff though, also impressed by Kakhi he seems to get into the top 5-10 in almost every race.

As you may have seen by visiting my team HQ I'm planning a little race series myself (inspired by Basque Country Series), which will only include domestiques/weak riders.

All information can be found here.

I would just like to hear if you are interested. Wink

I just had to spend half an hour explaining to Cadel what you meant by weak riders. He's devastated, he thought he finally had a chance of winning something.

I'm definitely interested. Powers will conquer. Eijssen should do well on the climbs as well. Smile

You really think he could win that?
Bloody idiot!

(Good start by Schröder. Hopefully, he can start fulfilling the goals of his team...)
