The last 35 kms were great racing, and a nice win for Bole and Lampre.
Ouest France (West France) not Quest France.

No, actually Gilbert destroyed himself just trying to follow him while Gerrans still had energy left to sprint. Surprising, to say the least, but it looked like he is NOW feeling his season.

Thanks, for some reason, I've always assumed it was Quest.

Nope, it's definitely Ouest. It's named after a newspaper that's sold in... the West of France. It's the main rival to Le Télégramme (which sells less and sells in Western Brittany only), which is why Le Télégramme sponsors and has a race named after itself too.

Did I mention, by the way, that Casper has signed with AG2R ?

That edit was so obvious, so I just had to make it
Seriously though, Stake Laengen has been strong in the mountains/hills through the whole season, but in most cases, he's been doing work for Wilmann/Remme, in Joker Merida. I hope he can shine now, when he's finally allowed to race for own chances. If he's on form, he should be a strong contender for the podium.

Modolo seems to be in top-shape. He could be a "surprise" at the WC

Kind of funny result there, first 7 riders only 3 teams and nicely sorted

Brambilla wasn´t too happy with Modolo´s win, or i´m just bad in interpreting:
