Ya great sprint from him, but what was Sam thinking, stopping his sprint that close to the line. Looked like he exploded but when Calep passed he was sprinting again.

Bora-Hansgrohe on fire again this Tour of Turkey, Felix Grossschartner the strongest on the ascent to Kartepe. Valerio Conte recovered enough to pip Merhawi Kudus for second, Remco Evenepoel rolling over the line a handful of seconds later for fourth. Peloton absolutely shattered over the course of the climb.

Great ride from Großschartner, kept his cool, recovered and shattered Kudus in style. First pro win btw. Nice one from Evenepoel too. And Edgar Pinto. |

Cool, biggest GC win of an Austrian since Luttenberger's TdS win afaik, at least by race category.

Victory on Stage 3 of the Tour of the Alps for Androni Giocattoli thanks to Fausto Masnada. Tao Geoghegan Hart led a very reduced pack over the line 5" later for second ahead of Rafal Majka in third.
Pavel Sivakov retains the leader's jersey for Team Sky. Astana and Pello Bilbao the biggest losers in the GC on the day, Jan Hirt still the best placed Astana rider.

Actually I think they were happy to have Masnada in front just to make sure the 10s bonus is gone as this could in theory delivered Hirt the GC lead.
With the 10s gone, Sivakov was safe and Masnada was no danger anyway. |

Another stage victory for Tao Geoghegan Hart and Team Sky on Stage 4 of the Tour of the Alps. Vincenzo Nibali and Rafal Majka round out the podium and finish on the same time as the young Brit.
Pavel Sivakov retains the leader's jersey after finishing on the same time as Hart, Nibali and Majka. Astana's Jan Hirt falls down the GC standings after finishing with the Froome group and losing 40 seconds. Nibali and Majka close the gap to Sivakov slightly due to the time bonifications.

Quite some fun racing in the Alps over the last couple of days. Quite pathetic the race didn't have a single summit finish though.

What do you think About Nibali’s performance? Can he win Giro?
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
