Cool. I was out of the office yesterday so wouldn't have updated it then anyway. Hopefully I'll get it updated at lunchtime today.
On to Brabantse Pijl in the Classics game. Good luck all.
Could you not have done it when I was 60th!?

League Table Updated. Congrats to Gargatouf on his win, and also for joining Ian on 5 overall individual race wins.
Timo holds onto the overall lead by a very small margin. He is however currently well ahead of Ian at the Spring Classics so could extend that lead in the next couple of weeks.

What the hell, stars aligned. I just hit the top 8 in Brabantse Pijl. The race had very clear favourites, but still. I should bet today.
I'm a bit disappointed Colbrelli didn't go 9th though |

A very tight race at the top of that leaderboard.
The Classic will be so important indeed.
Well I hoped for Colbrelli had gotten that 5th place so I scored all top 5 in the Pijl. But satisfied as it was.

Good amstel for the team, Fuglsang and Alaphilippe may have lost the win but won me crucial points. La fleche will be a tough one to pick now!

Ah there we go, I always forget to do my transfers once in the game.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I literally remembered about it at about 9 o'clock on Sunday morning so didn't really give my picks too much thought. Van Der Poel and Alaphillipe kept me in the top 15, just. My hopes of a top 10 are fading. Just got to hold onto the top 15 now.

Hmmmm if the standings were to end like this, ember’s early season misfortunes would quickly be forgotten, that’s more than 200 points for him if I’m not mistaken, an important move for the title revalidation. |

Not sure I enjoy this kind of extra pressure, at least I know where to point if this goes very wrong in Fleche and LBL, Velogames-wise
For tomorrow, I feel there are many difficult choices to make, especially considering how racing has been the last seven days, as it feels like there are too few to make this a classic Fleche where the peloton controls everything until the Mur the final time. If we get a race where late attacks can hold on, suddenly the list of potential winners and podium finishers is considerably longer. |

Unbelievable how there has not been a single race bar Tirreno that one of my riders doesn’t crash or fall ill (ok, Lutsenko crashed in Tirreno but he still won), watch me pick Fuglsang and he getting a flat tire on a decisive moment in LBL |

Eeny-meeny-miny-mo, pick all the ones that suffer some woe...
Today's episode was Yates, Martin, and the slightly left field hope for Izagirre.

Yeah, I had both Yates and Martin too, and also Poels who did naff all. Went for Teuns over Matthews that also didn't pay off.
Slipped out of the top 15 now

Yeah, happy to see my lower cost picks went well with Konrad being the differential, as I even extended the lead with Fleche, landing 1-2-4-5-7.
It comes down to today then. Must say I like my team, with Matthews and Kwiatkowski being the key riders I'm missing. If they both do very well, the overall will be difficult, as the teams being close are all with Matthews. Together with Wellens he was the alternative to Bardet, and I couldn't resist going for an outsider pick with Bardet. That was more heart than brain, fingers crossed it won't get punished |

Ah darn it, lost my podium spot to clamel. I blame myself for not picking Fuglsang in Amstel.
ember has won both overall and PCMDaily league, which should mean he has taken a huge leap in the standings with 100 points more! Congratulations for the wise/lucky choices, because I guess both come into play here.
Now for Romandie, where I'm trying to fit everyone in my team and don't know how. |
