Now Sagan is 90 points ahead. Who was saying Cav is getting it back today? |

"ASO has confirmed they might cut the stage and move the finishing line to either Chalet Reynard or all the way to the bottom. Bursts of wind up to 100 km/h. They'll decide today or at the latest tomorrow morning at 4 am."
Lets hope this doesn't happen!!!!!!

Why are somewhat well respected members leaving left and right? We are all fanboying sometimes, calm. Ofc Avin is proud when a shitty country like Slovakia has the best rider, I was happy when a shitty country like Denmark had the best climber as well. |

Well considering Froome had to drill it and Movistar let the other teams do the work to try and bring it back then I'd have to agree with you, Quintana just sat on wheels today and let all the others use up energy.
This is also note for Movistar..climbers are great. But on GT you need flat diesels also.
+1
Wonder why they did not find out last year, I would like Q to win, but he is very weak on hard flat days

If the wind is predicted to be that strong then you can understand cutting the stage short on a exposed climb like Ventoux, I'm assuming this is just worst case scenario stuff and we are most likely going to have the full Ventoux

They really should of brought Rojas
Their climbers haven't done anything yet either expect from getting into breaks in the mountains |

I've said it before and I will keep repeating it as long as he keeps doing these things: Sagan is the most worthy World Champion since long. For me he already is one of the greats in cycling history. Not necessarily because of his palmares, but just the way he races, his vision on cycling, on and off the bike.
I'm not a big fan of Froome, but I have to admit I admire his Tour so far. He's not afraid to work on his weaknesses, isn't afraid to take a risk and go when an opportunity presents itself.
Actually at this point I'd rather have Froome winning the Tour than Quintana, who has no sense of taking initative except in the final mountain stage when it's too late. |

That will just suck for Quintana, bcoz its one less day of pain he can dish out to Froome. Could really help Froome. One day less racing means fresher in final week. |

Peter offered stage win for Bodnar, but Froome sprint spoiled that oportunity
This is one reason I'll never be able to respect Froome as a 'true' champion.
Sagan and Froome both have a stage win this tour and Sagan was willing to let his teammate who doesn't get to win often a shot at glory, while Froome decided that he would try to outsprint both him and Sagan, even after all the effort Bodnar contributed to him making time and how much more it would mean to him to take a win.
Most riders would be willing to accept they are in yellow and have a stage win and be content with the time gain in the greater battle, as many champions have done in the past.
I know it's not in the rules, but this seems like proper etiquite.

Froome has ALWAYS been an aggressive bike rider, it has been the consensus for long that he and Sky are boring. Sky are, to some extent, but Froome has always been putting huge attacks in. This time around tho, they have been unexpected.
Quintana, meanwhile, has become more conservative and calculated, but also extremely cold blooded. So he is definitely the more boring rider of the two and the most boring of the 'big 4'. But if he wins, I doubt he will care. Not that he does at this point anyways. |
