Well complaining now about something after it just is too late to make any changes won't help much. The Wage demand is determined by AVG, perfomance in the previous season and the current wage. Contador had already a much lower wage compared to Froome and Nibali and also a much worse season. Also the wage demand was reduced by almost 100 by the Mediator Shonak used.
I considered changing the min wage formula before, but it never seemed an issue to anyone, so that's why I didn't really think much about it. Before next season I'll clearly give it another thought, but to have that included for this season it's already too late. |

OZ - I'll never take offence to people who disagree with me if they do it in a polite and constructive manner
Bikex - I think it's a good system in general, but it shouldn't be that there's such a difference between them. I don't know if it's possible, but maybe there should be a factor that riders grow towards each other in wage? If Contador knows what Froome and Nibali earn, he should ask higher. If The Rider knows how low Contador goes, he should be able to give Froome lower wage offer based on that.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@ollfradh: Cool. So someone can offer his guy 2k and I have to suffer the consequences. Seems legit.
Also, how should such a thing be applicable to normal riders, where should they orientate themselves? Because it's unfair if it's just for 80 stat guys, or 79+ stats. Too much market interference overall me thinks.
I'm sure bikex can handle the wages fine by turning up the demands. That said, don't you guys cry when your leaders become unaffordable.

I also appreciate it that the min wages are in this game. This makes it a sound decision of going for depth in a squad, which certainlty pays off imo. If there wern't min wage, people would honestly turn to hoarding their top doms because they are so cheap. Min wages are a very good thing imo.

I only brought it up since the discussion about wages started already. Not because I thought it was absolutely necessary that this needed a change but because I think that it is the other side of the coin that was discussed. Ofc I realized that it is too late just as for the higher leader demands. If anything I would have been angry if some things would still have been changed for this season already ^^
@ Shonak : My point was not that min wages are bad (they certainly are not! ) but that they are imo too high for low AVG guys.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Will never let him go, he'll stay with me forever
Or you could have this for 420

Can I put money into research in the next FA Rounds or is Round 1 the only option? And where can I find the options for research (also these potions that are being talked about)?

I give the remaining managers max 24 more hours. The next rounds won't take this long, but in the first round I like to give everyone the chance to send something in, even if it takes longer, as it is the most important transfer round. |

It's kind of annoying to have teams not sending anything in for the first round, but by now there was definitely enough time. These teams didn't send in anything:
Team Cymru Wales
Team W - Junior
A1 Cycling Team
Team Heineken - Shell
DonnyBrasco (Heineken) didn't login since signing up, so I don't expect much more in the future from him. sutty already has a full team but also didn't answer to my PM. Waghlon is posting "funny" stuff all day on the site but didn't even bother to answer one of my PMs explaining his situation. Luxemburger is on vacation so it's kind of understandable I haven't gotten anything from him.
I will not remove any of these teams, I'll start filling them with unsigned riders from their focus nations after this round, which won't make them really competitive.
Also I decided to add another Team: ICBC Cycling Team, which will be similarly like Telecom Namibia last season managerless and only consist of Asian riders.
Free Agents Round 1.2
The db where you see what riders you could already secure in round 1.1: https://www.mediafire.com/download/2qu...-R1.1.xlsx
You can also see which cyclists are still in negotations, meaning a second round of bids is necessary.
The second part of round 1 will be done via pm. For riders whose at least top two biders were only seperated by a maximum of 20% of the maximum bid you will have to make a second bid. The highest bider here will get the riders. In the event of a tie a random generator will decide who gets the rider.
The new bid has to be at least 90% of your old bid.
I'll pm you a list of riders you have to make a second bid on and you send me the list back. This is an example of how the list will look like:
50 would be the team ID, 443 the rider ID, it's obvious what "Boonen" and "Tom" are, 600 would be the wage you offered in round 1 and 540 is the lowest amount you can bid now.
To make the new bid copy everything put it in a table formate and send it back to me. Please don't forget to send it to me in a table format, that'd save me a lot of work.
So this is how your answer could look like:
To see what's left of your budget after deducting the wage of the riders you secured already open the spoiler. You have to deduct what you want to have left for scouting and research yourself.

If you want you can use this excel file for this bidding: https://www.mediafire.com/?6zl3k779bz...779bzwn1ys
Just past the table I send you into the red box. Also put your budget left into the cell it belongs into. Also readd your talent focus and research!
The file isn't needed though.
The deadline will be 48 hours, if I don't get a reply I'll enter your previous bid for this round as well. |
