Tejay losing time would be bad for my fantasy season. Was he dropped or just not wearing a transponder?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Van Avermaet win and Sagan is up to his nickname 2agan
It's as if we've seen the same thing again again again

Did think that Sagan would take this, since he is very good on shorter timetrials, but just viewed GVA results on those, and he is just as good.
So I think GVA takes the overall. |

I expect to see him up there in the end.
Otherwise GVA would have had worked surely. |

GVA certainly is on form and his confidence must be through the roof, maybe he can finally bag that big classics win this season

Ridiculous
"It's very hard to work with other guys because nobody wants to work with me so it's better to drop everybody." - Peter Sagan

Tejay confirmed 1'20'' down on GVA. Bizarre. |

TVG was caught up in a crash with 5 k's to go and came in 92nd about a minute down

Just read this as well.
I guess Caruso also was left behind in that crash? Bad luck for BMC in parts. GVA at least won the stage and might also take the GC. So still a good race for them anyway.
Missing the 3km mark by just a bit when crashing is always tough. |

Wooooaaaaaah epic race! I've loved every second of it (well, of what I've seen, and that's the last 24 km)
Beautiful race, amazing. Feel bad for Sagan, because he is a true fighter, but happy for Van Avermaet.
What a race, with Nibali and Valverde trying to close the gap but not succeeding, Gaviria doing his job, working like a mule. The peloton never too far behind...
Fantastic.
Tirreno got a lot more interesting without that mountain stage.
Cancel next year's mountain stage, please |

According to my calculations, that is the 82nd time Sagan has finished second |

I think 21 secs is too much for Jungels to make up. GVA to win IMO he is good in short TT |

No offence but 2nd in Tirreno is a damn good result for Sagan |
