Lutsenko is steadily developing into a very good rider. A dominating win. Thomas and Dumoulin grabbed about 2 seconds on Pinot I think.

This is set up nicely for a G.Thomas win. I do think Dumoulin could make up 1'24 on Pinot. But 50 seconds on Thomas on this course? Nah.. and then there's Spilak, 30s is also too much.
So probably Thomas/Spilak on 1/2, then Pinot/Dumoulin on 3/4 |

Is the finish tomorrow at the same place as today (atop the hill)? Cause it used to be when they did a Bern timetrial in the past but the hill doesn't show on the profile..

I think TT course will suit Spilak and Pozzovivo more than Thomas. They are just 13 and 16 seconds down respectively on Thomas which is not much. Also Spilak on his day can TT better than Froome as we saw at Pais Vasco. So its all open. Hoping to see another exciting stage. |

Thank goodness.
(not that Spilak/Katusha is a much less dodgy combination than Thomas/Sky, especially in Spilak's contract year, but still)

Spilak has been brilliant this season. 3rd at Paris Nice, 2nd at Romandie and now the win. Guess now we will see what he can do at GT. |

No we won't. Weather at Tour and Vuelta is way too warm.

I like how Spilak just casually beats TT specialists like Cancellara and Malori like it's nothing.
Gesink's 10th place surprised me even more, though he came a few seconds short to 8th GC.

He's not GT rider, he knows it himself, one week races are his speciality and he will continue focusing on them.
If he goes to GT it will always be a super domestique.

Haha, just won 250 bucks.
I bet on him only because the weather forecast said rain and we all know he's a different man in the rain. Oh well, money's money. |

Do you have any insider on that? I dont think he ever would be able to top-10 in TdF, even if he tried, but when he consistently can climb with the best in one week races and time and time again time trial in top-5, he should give the Giro a try imo if not his recovery is shit, or he just doesnt like GTs |

Majka was better in the Giro time trial last year. He can do this, especially on this kind of course |
