Thanks for the reports, roturn. I enjoyed all six of them
Congratulations to Vontobel and Margh Norway, Di Maggio with his hill stat and gap to the others thinking of that stat gave him a great chance for the overall win, and he used it well.
Though, as SN said after Willunga, Pozzato probably should have been right up there as well. |

Great and fast reporting all the way, i enjoyed the reports, chapeau Roturn!
Congrats to Di Maggio and his new team Vontobel, he was the strongest rider for sure.
Still horrible breakaway/chasing pack AI, but that is the trademark of PCM14 when the riders are not PT quality or when human is not controlling things.

Hmm, it's not that fun with breakaways this season around. Maybe because we're seldom in them
I am not convinced by my team and this doesn't look good at all. But after all it was a C1-race, and we'll get other opportunities.
Congrats to Di Maggio, he was clearly the strongest overall. |

Very disappointing that Pozzato and Furdi just passively stayed in the peloton during the crucial Willunga stage. Maybe they did it because Weening was still up the road, but that is a very bad reason to throw away your GC.
We did great in the first two stages, but when the team had to step up to defend the jersey they switched off and let the breakaway win. It was all downhill from there...
This has been an anticlimactic and sad tour for us. But that awesome start does give us hope for the future.
And fingers crossed that 4 out of the last 4 stages being won by the early breakaway was just a freak accident. If not, we have a serious problem on our hands.
Thanks for reporting, roturn.

Great race reports roturn, and so damn fast! Racing seemed a bit unfortunate at times with the breakaways but let's pretend it's early season form issues.
