So close for Kobe... Would've been cool to have both Shaq and Kobe in a special jersey

Those last two had good AI actually.
Vanmarcke tried twice and still finished 13th. So quite strong in a sprinters race. Next year hopefully cobbles.
France was nice. Roux against Gautier as expected eventually. Unfortunately the +1 in hill worked out for Gautier in the end. But without any support, definitely a huge result by Roux.
Would have been nice to see him getting a NC jersey in his last Rothaus race. |

Well, had my race now, nice try from Stuyven and Joseph, but Peeters just continuing his crap season. Nice 10th from De Greef in the TT.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Nice races! Not too surprsing results either and certainly congrats to Boyugues who are having a nice day in the NC's. Didn't expect anything from Soupe or Bardet in France so they didn't dissapoint!

Two good road races, that clearly was over the critical mass for the AI to work. Good that the biggest nations will have favourite wins.

I voted for a hilly course at the Belgian Championships, due to having Bakelants. It lost by 1 vote.
You all brought this on yourselves

Why were my riders, Moinard and Jeannesson, not in the French RR?

I wonder which 1 vote you mean.
Most of us were hoping for a cobbled race.

Impressive to see Gautier retaining such a high profile NC, it's not often you see that happening. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the way the well-populated races have played out. It gives me hope for the portuguese events
@LLS: I guess due to overcrowding. In races like the french one, not everyone can make the cut. It sucks but SN has to draw the line somewhere, since you can't have more than 24 teams iirc.
Also, since we have people working on Man-Game's archives, it would be nice to have someone make a list of 2014's NCs like these as well I guess: 2010, 2012, 2013

BELTRAN yeah ha! - thanks for all the congrats guys, does put the cherry on top of a massive cake for him from this season.

Ah, Beltran! But did we expect anything else really?
Going to be fun to engineer a Colombian NC for him!
Hold your horses Aidan (although we'd love to see a design if you have time), even with the title win, still most likely that he will be loaned to PT so a jersey will probably not be necessary given you already have a long list of team jerseys on your plate, nevermind NC's as well *until he wins again next year that is .
Hopefully the RR title keeps interest in Beltran on loan for 2015 in the minds of PT managers! . Since I first discussed this option with him in late September, he has been super-fired up, winning stages and top placings in both stage races since; he's obviously highly motivated at the chance to continue his development in the PT before returning to lead Nutresa's progress towards getting to the top table on merit hopefully two or three seasons further down the line. Think the dictionary definition of a 'franchise rider' has just been updated with a Beltran picture!
Also impressed by Herrera's performance in the Col TT - bronze medal more than I expected given the likes of Suaza are generally considered stronger against the clock. Pedro is still on the uncertain future list for next season, but this results certainly doesn't do his case any harm. Transfer activity success will likely impact strongly on final decision whether his seat on the team bus is safe or he is to be put on the market.
Finally, the Nationals was a great opportunity to catch up with the great and the good from the Colombian cycling fraternity. Was amazed how much interest our little teams success in the CT has attracted from the senior Colombian riders .
Off home now after the race and press conferences to catch up on the satellite tv coverage of todays other NC's.

Guess Bos had better chances in a hilly route.. Breakaway!
That said, this rather short road race could actually seen him surviving in the pack. Let's not forget he did win two races in the Crits Series last season!

Great exciting racing in France. Vichot in the mix, but not quite good enough in the end there.
Did I miss something about having to nominate riders? Van der Sande not in participating in Belgium? May be due to too many teams, but not really sure. |

My best guess is I accidentally left 26 teams in the Belgian startlist (25 human + Control) when the max is 25, and your team was the unlucky one to be cut by the game.
As with Euskaltel and France. Theres not enough space for all riders in the big countries where more than 24 teams have a rider from there - riders who are alone in their team, or who are not suited to the course, are most liable to be cut.

Good effort from my team in Belgium, unfortunately it´s hard to win, when your sprinter works as a lead-out for rest of sprinters Congrats to Crommy.

The French race was very entertaining race. Unfortunate that Roux got second place again, just as last year. A nice 10th place from Perget, that's about the most i could hope for .
Dominating performance by Bpost in the Belgian TT .
