Did a trial last night for the local football team. They have a partnership with the. Central Coast Mariners who are one of the top teams in the country, and you have a chance of getting into their academy. Anyway, it was one of my better performances, scoring a volley from outside the box and also getting. Really good assist, also off the volley. Played in defense for a little bit, and made some key interceptions, blocks and clearances so that's good. Also managed to send my mate through several times but he couldn't score, so it's good for me but not for him
Got asked for my rego number quite early so that was good. Now waiting for the email to come back on Sunday
Just heard I have to attend an excursion to a foreign country this year... Had to choose from Frankfurt, London and Bruxelles. And ofcourse I decided I wanted to go to Bruxelles in April, visiting the EU, a Uni and a Beer brewery

Not decided yet to 100%. Actually not even decided what I am going to do next year in terms of studying or working.
Most likely is Mainz actually. But could also be Darmstadt or Wiesbaden or something around as it is all within short range there.

I already study engineering.
But not decided yet if I go on with the Master in April, which then would be in Darmstadt most likely, or start working already, which obviously depends on my job applications.
Ilmenau...it's a small city in Thüringen...mid Germany. Just around 7000 students, but it is one of the best Universities in Germany. Mainly because of the Fact, that there are just 7000 people around here...No full rooms...Everyone knows everyone...(can be good or bad)...Also it was the first University in Germany, which has no controls from a Ministry. Ilmenau has earned the rights, to control and set the standards itself.
And it's fucking cheap here...400€/year + 166-236€ living...and if you like cycling, we have some great hills here...

Where do I sign up?!
Nah but seriously, I'm not really a small town kinda guy. Though I'd consider it for the future, what sort of things can you study there?
It's a technical university, so everything with engineering + media stuff + chemistry, biological stuff + psychology + maths + physics + IT + economy...
And because it is an international friendly university, our percentage of foreigners is around 12%...with 81 countries(i think) atm...
it's pretty nice here...i wouldn't want to study f.e. in Munich with over 20k students...if you have a problem(f.e. internet) you have to write your problem to the admins...here, you simply knock at their doors and get your problem fixed within minutes...not weeks...

Haha, Munich would of course be the easy option for me. If I have a problem with the internet, I simply go upstairs and see if my parents know more.
And meda stuff... that could be something for me. Other than that, I don't actually know what I wanna do.
