Cause nobody from the Czech rep has decent chance to win, I would be very happy to see him staying on the top next week
Thank you Andy for everything!

If he has those legs next week, there's just no beating him in Tabor. He was way above the competition, incl. Van Aert.
Regardless, he definitely learned from last year, where he ran rather empty towards the end of CX season. Should be a thrilling weekend in Tabor.
Gratz to Pauwels and Cant for winning World Cup.

So cross followers, questions for you
How are you fancying Van der Poel's chances for the WC title? Yay or nay?
My questions comes for his nice price, 4.0 which gives him 25% chance of winning (according to the odds). Pauwels and Van der Haar are 5.0 (20% chance) wit Van Aert 2.25 (44% chance).
Are these fair enough? Is there any value in Der Poel or Van der Haar?

Definitely yay. He's probably the top favourite after Hoogerheide.
Vos injured with left hamstring. This really wide opens up the Female CX WC.

With those odds, betting on Van der Poel is definitely a yay. Hes been dominating the last few races in an awesone way, and if anything too bad happens, hes going to do the same in Tabor.

Mathieu is the favourite for me, it seems like he is peaking now, judging by his latest results - last 5 races, 4 wins, 1 2nd place. While Wout van Aert and Kevin Pauwels for example, haven't performed in a few races now, could be a sign of a decreasing shape, especially if you compare how dominant they were a month ago.

So the forecast for the weekend says temperatures around 0 and chance of rain with snow here in south Bohemia, so i wonder how it will influence the races, maybe it can be muddy instead of frozen ground, there have been some rain in last few days.
This is first time when i have tickets for whole weekend, so i will try to make some pictures for you guys.
My best bet for the men is K.Pauwels. He is usually doing great in Tabor and is my dark horse. I have never seen VdP or Aert live, so i wonder how these supertalents can mix it up with proven riders.

The underground is tougher than everyone thought, though. Pauwels did some recon and he's disappointed because it's so tough. That's good news for Van Aert |

Maybe Pauwels should rewatch Azencross and be happy that it won't be a mudfeast *cough* over 2 minutes on Van Aert *cough*

Just saw a TV programme on local channel about WC in Tábor and interview with K.Nash.
Apparently the course is muddy after snowing followed by sunny afternoon and several training rides. Muddy course would be nice and Nash would prefer it.
But all depends on the weather of course.
Chief of WC preparations (and also founder of Kalas sportswear and former great cyclist) ÄŒestmÃr KalaÅ¡ picks van der Poel as top favourite for Elite.

Yeah. I felt sorry for the american losing his chain in the final corner, though. He was looking good for a bronze.

For the women, I'm gonna have to say Sanne Cant. She's having her best season yet and it'd be nice to see it rewarded with the ultimate prize! |

Was a good race with the women, I do hope we don't get silver every race though
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Fantastic race. Too bad Cant just missed out on a victory!
If the route tomorrow is like with the juniors, I expect Van Der Poel.
If it is like with the women, it's hard to predict! |
