144th overall, could have been (slightly) worse for my first Velogames entry.
Andrew Talansky - Did nothing, just as well Martin/Hesjedal performed for his sake. 14 (all assists)
Alejandro Valverde - Strong performance, well worth the 14 credits spent. 2192
Nairo Quintana - You all know the story, still one of the best in the team by the end. 414
Jurgen van den Broeck - Complete waste of 10 credits, Hansen's win coming after he retired. A big fat ZERO
Peter Sagan - Very disappointing, but had his moments. 234
Tony Martin - 1 stage win, otherwise not much. 186
Simon Clarke - Mostly in assists, lucky OGE had some good days. 48
Winner Anacona - Started out great, but faded suddenly for a respectable score given his price of only 6 credits. 370
Arnets Txurruka - Did bugger all. No assist points for mountain rankings hurt a lot. 23
I was especially unlucky with my team that on the last day of selection I wanted to change Landa to Niemiec and Kelderman to Valverde, but didn't have internet access then
If I did that it wouldn't be that bad result.
Alejandro Valverde 2192 - easily the best choice anybody could have made (most points and much cheeper then Froome and Contador)
Wilco Kelderman 517- not too bad but could have done much better, Daniel Martin would have been much better and Hesjedal arguable (less points and less cost)
Fabio Aru 1216 - nice
Thibaut Pinot 16 - seriously regret not picking Rodriguez now (had the enough points to make that switch)
Nacer Bouhanni 636 - Degenkolb would have been better (and would have put me at 98 points)
Fabian Cancellara 263
Philippe Gilbert 202
Tony Martin 186
same story with all three - all 8 pointers while there are some 6 pointers that did much better (Caruso, Malori (4!) and Anacona)
Luis Leon Sanchez 262 - wildcard
