Cav's fault, but I don't think there was much he could do, it all looked a bit too tight in the middle. But when you get GC riders taking up some of that room then the space is going to disappear.

Cav is in no way the only one guilty for that crash
looked like he was, he was pushing on Gerrans and then there was a touch of wheels between them, Gerrans had no-where to go as Coquard was next him... :/

I don't think it was anyones fault actually. I think it was just unfortunate and probably Cav is out which is very dissapointing for everyone. |

I hope Gerrans is ok, it looks like he hit his head really hard onto the tarmac |

Ya, it looks like Gerrans was not going to give Cavendish any room and Cavendish tried to push his way past.
So not Cavendish fault but he wasn't entirely free of some blame.
Gerrans doesn't need to give Cavendish any room. Gerrans and Coquard are going in a straight line, Cav pushes Gerrans, Cav's fault. |

There was a crash and of course thats going to mess up the peleton a bit, so dont put to much jizz into Froome being on 6th he was just at the right place.

Cavendish wanted to go but was boxed, Coquard wanted to go as well. Gerrans sort of tried to block everyone off and slot behind Kittel. |

Me too. Tomorrow would have been a good stage for him but I doubt he can do much now

Also it looks like Sagan's Green jersey attempt got to a good start, 2nd at the finish and a few points at the intermediate sprint |

Not really, Cavendish had his line and Gerrans took it/pushed into it and by that Cavendish got into a tight spot and of course tried to get out.
So yes Cavendish could have tried something else or slowed down but its a sprint and the top sprinters dont give a thing. |

Kwiatkowski lost 2:42 and Talansky 4:15 (!) according to PCS.

Not human? I think you might have that the wrong way around
Looked like Cav wanted the space and tried for a gap that wasn't really there, Could of been avoided but it's Cav and he does get over excited at times
