That's a known problem, sadly no solution is available.
You have to try another editor.
You can use the forum search or google to find more about that error. |

No, it is caused by a certain patch from Microsoft, if I remember correctly. |

Well my laptop is now 1 day old, so whatever patch it is is pretty damn standard. And it's a shame as your editor is the best

Does it have a touch screen? I think it is a patch for touch support.
But maybe you are right and Microsoft includes touch feature in Windows 8. |

Certainly not a touch screen, but Windows 8 is designed with touch in mind, so it could be part of a more general W8 patch

I downloaded 7zip from here and I have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1. I downloaded your Editor and when I open it with 7zip and try to start LachisEditor.exe there is an error. It says that the authority of "MainWindow" defined in the assembly "LachisEditor, Version=0.8.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0" can't be created. There is an error in the Markupfile "LachisEditor; component/MainWindow.xaml".
The system can't find the file "Infragistics3.Wpf.Ribbon.v8.2, Version=8.2.20082.2001, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb"
I hope you can use that to help me. Thanks already. |

Did you extract all the files instead of opening them with WinRar or 7zip?

matt, i open "LachisEditor" and after there are "Data", "ForeignKeys", "GridLayouts", "Languages", "Exporter.exe"...others, "LachisEditor" and "Options.xml". I only double click on "LachisEditor" and after it says there is an error. |

Just select the folder and click on extract. Theen just click ok and then it will extract the files on the desktop.

Just modify it in STA_Race as I said.
