Kreuziger nearly stops, gives up his gap, looks back and gestures to Contador to attack across the gap onto his wheel, Kwiatkowski dying........and Contador just stares at Quintana. Jesus...

Awesome Contador, didn't think he'd make it in the end when Porte got away. Weird Tinkoff tactics though. At last some PCM $ for me, yeah. It was weird though when he didn't join Kreuziger.
Kwiatkowski really suffered but great performance. He did finish ahead of Uran I think.

Riis is going to have someone attacking on the Lanciano tomorrow, 100%. Probably Kreuziger.

Well, Basso did say he wanted to do well here and indeed there's a Cannondale in 8th overall....except it's Moser

Not sure if he's really that great.
It's still an early season race ofc, I think Quintana would be better if they're both on top-form. We won't be able to see that in the TdF though.
Well, it was still a good performance. And I really hope they had an equal form(mostly because I want an interesting Tour, not one that is only Froome,Froome,Froome)...

Contador is a beast. Much better thanlast year. I quite liked how Quintana was being gained with every metre.
I'm not quite sure how winning a stage at Tirreno (admittedly I haven't seen it yet) and coming 2nd at the Volta ao Algarve qualifies him as a 'beast' quite yet. Besides, no matter how good he is, he's not getting past Froome at Le Tour.

Don't exclude that yet! Contador had a very bad 2013 season where he only took a stage at the Tour de San Luis, today he beated the best climbers in the world except Froome and Nibali so he still has a chance of winning the tour and he is atleast showing that we should still consider him a GC favourite
