König still nicely in the top10, i wonder if he can challenge Pinot for 7th, Thibaults seems like loosing bit of a grip in last days, should be a nice battle. Smile

Did you watch a different race? Pinot seemed very strong the last few days. I think he even overestimated himself yesterday, because he was putting in a ton of attacks. And only when Horner/Nibali accelerated he had to let go.
By then König was already dropped, and was already dropped several times before too(heck even by Pinots attacks)

So I'm wondering what race did you see.

I missed the stage yesterday, so i was rather talking about events prior to that, thanks for clearing that up. Holding on top10 is the goal for König anyway.
I'll be back

Pinot's had a cold since last week, he says it doesn't affect him too much in cold temperatures, but when you're speaking about tiny margins, it may still have an effect.
He seems to get dropped every time the favourites hit the magic 6,0 W/kg number, at 5,9 he's still there, at 6,0 he loses a little ground.

I do wonder about Pots-of-Epo's performances this Vuelta though

Still a few stages left for him to have his customary dip in form. What would he be without his form profile resembling mountain stages Pfft.

Valverde and Movistar seem to be up for this. With the Spaniard stealing the +3" bonus from the first intermediate sprint. Breakaways are having a great time trying to stay away at the moment.

Currently out in front after the first intermediate sprint are: Txurruka, Flecha, Nerz, Sorensen, Martinez, Sijmens, Huzarski, Uran, and Kohler.

Movistar currently chasing the break which has currently about 1'30'' to the pack. I'm gonna get a pillow and I'll see you all at the last quilometre.

Who actually lead the race ? And what the gap between the breakaway and the leader group?
