I hope that Spartacus will win World Champions in both discipline. Fingers cross.
Please don't let this happen, Mr Nice Guy who really is not Mr Nice Guy
I think Martin wins the TT with Phinney and Canc to fill the podium.
The RR will have a unexpected winner with the main favourites to fill out the podium.

Probably they don't expect much interest. Might be on BBC 3/4/Sport/red button or something similar though.

Rather surprising line up for Lotto, they're mostly sprinters or punchers. Then again it's not necessarily a problem as it's far from being as simple as the sum of individuals TT skills.
I don't know about X or Y's form, but I thought FDJ would rather bring Delage or Vaugrenard instead of Geniez or Rollin. |

I think the philosophy is to take the leadout train because they're more used to riding together like this

Dippofx - Probably on red button, it's not on ITV or BBC 3,4 you thought at least one channel would have it.

The TTT - The one thing in cycling I find boring

They had it on the highlights last year but I don't think it was on live. As Isso says though, TTT's aren't worth watching. |

How are TTT more boring that ITT ? At least in TTT you can judge the cohesion of a team, how they handle curbs as a group, etc. |

ITT's are dull as well (generally). |

That's what I meant. It's the dullest thing in cycling (bar, perhaps, watching the first two hours of a flat stage), so I was disputing that TTT can't be the most boring thing to watch. |

I reckon they should get rid of TT and Team TT because they should just be for Track cycling,

Cycling wasn't made purely for entertainment purposes, you know. They shouldn't get rid of disciplines because they're boring to watch. If you don't like watching them, turn off your tv and look up videos of exciting mountain top finishes on YouTube. |

What? The TT is the only way we have of knowing who is the strongest individual in a race over a given distance. Not only that but it is the part of the sport that most requires dedicated training and technical work. TTs are thus important for GCs as they are the purest way of determining who is strongest and the technically best cyclist.
Not only that but the sport would be sapped of heaps of excitement. As it is pure climbers like Purito are put in a situation where, if they want to win GC, they have to attack to take the time that they will lose. If you remove the TT then the mountains will also be more boring.
Edit: and as for the TTT, I like it personally. It is the purest expression of cycling as a team sport. Technical proficiency like Garmin shows is able to be rewarded even if the individuals aren't as strong.

One thing I'd like to see implemented is that all TT's should be ridden on normal-road bikes. And make them longer. (60-80 kms).

They could make them more interesting by adding more time checks and making more hill TT's like the one in the TDF this year. Up until the end it was very exciting.
