But i can agree that referee is good some day for your team and some day is bad. But what really killed this game for me was the most boring style of football ever, shaped to perfection. I think no team can bring more boring style in the future. Hundreds of one meter long passes around the half, even curling is more action packed....
Last two years it is more boring than productive. And you can scroll two years back and see what my opinion is (you will find Cunego opposing everywhere).
And half of that wins was rather created by FIFA, than Barca itself. Like 2009 disgrace
What I have Heard it was correct, haven´t looked at it properly.
Im not a referee myself and cann´t the law book 100% but what I read was it was correct:
Even if the Contact starts outside the penaltyarea and it´s still Contact inside the penaltyarea it´s penalty.
Maybe that is the rule, but Messi is already in the air after the contact at the picture, so there was no continuation. Clearly just free kick for outside the box tackle for me.
But in the end it does not matter if the penalty was whistled. If it wasnt, someone else from that bunch of disgraceful divers and actors would create another one...

You know that I'm always up for (more or less) constructive discussions about this, but it's hard to argue when someone's opinion is obviously so fixed, so I'm not gonna respond anymore
Even if it was outside of the box in moment of tackle (it really was), how do you think that referee can see that? I mean, Messi started falling somewhere above white line or maybe even in box, so it was really hard decision. Referee - human - human makes mistakes. You behave like it's only happening to Barca, c'mon...
And you seem to be big Barca hater, so i think this discussion is pointless.
