Also, Sanchez is 35, not 33. 2 seasons ago , he was beast (even last season).
Basso is 36 and he was pretty good last season and in 2011, also. So 35 would be perfect , if you ask me.
Of course there are some oddities, as some of the riders you cited (you could add Purito as well). But both Sánchez and Basso started declining at 33, and lots of riders start even earlier. 33/34 is the best imo in general, then you could change it for some particular riders (for some a lesser one, for others a higher one).

Of course , but in PCM when rider reaches 33, he start declining and if he has 80MO/HIL f.e. at the end of the season he is going to have 76/76 or something like that, so point is that declining should be slower , but we can't do anything against that.
Soo, we should put declining age on 34 at least , if not 35. Everything above that would be too much.

Well, it depends on the coefficient of evolution you choose, and the year progression coeffcient of the rider. So it won't necessarily be that much in all cases.

33 seems right for me.
Also, an other issue.
The 24 countries under Cyprus(so higher ID) have pink boxes as flags at my game. Does that mean there's something wrong with my local.cdb?

When I try to plan my season in the rider window, where you can pull the races to your riders, I crash when going from May to June.
Not sure if this is DB related but I tried it a few times now.
Just tested a bit more. When going backwards it`s crashing when going to March from April...

Regarding the decline age thing, I seem to recall a database that had it generated randomly? Wouldn't that be a possibility? Or had that just been applied to existing riders and there has to be one common age for newly created riders?

Downloaded the DB and I have to say I'm quite impressed with the amount of races and teams that have been put in here - .2 races from outside Europe have realistic startlists etc and it all looks quite good.
However the stats need a bit of work! There are quite a few minor points that I disagree on that I won't mention here (it's not a stat discussion thread after all ) but Gatto at 68 cob, and Hesjedal = Daniel Diaz in MO are just hilarious

I agree that it's an amazing DB, yet, I also agree that the stats aren't great... No problem, have done a lot of stat editing, and now I'm satisfied and can't wait to start my season(have to go through the planning first )

Still no solution for this? |

I find the stats pretty accurate for most riders. You have to keep in mind that this database is using a different stat matrix than other db's.. And secondaries count two.
The stats only need alot of editing if you don't like the stat-matrix.

They aren't bad, but I'm the kind of guy that wants them good instead of medium
WT & PCT have quite okay stats, but CT is off in a lot of cases...
I'm not a big fan of the stat matrix, but I kept it similar(though a bit different).
I trust the makers that it's a good matrix
I don't like the fact that the minimum stat is 60, though.
Still, overall, I'm very satisfied with the DB

Are you sure that you did install the DB in the proper folder?
For me, for example, when i went to install part 1, it was installing in folder C: program files/cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Epoca 2013/Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2013.
That means that it was creating a folder inside the main folder.

i did that as-well, when i copied the files from the extra folder into the correct folder, everything works

Im just gonna ask here, but all of the .exe files show up as the right file size, but when I got to click them, my computer tells me that my version of Windows is not compatible with the files.
Did all of the files get corrupted even though I used a download manager? I'd like to know before I delete them off my computer and download the files again.

It can be corrupted file after download, I used FRD to download all files, and everything is fine...
Or they are just fine but windows have not enough rights to run them inside "system folder" of program files. Seriously, why you put it there in the first time? I never install from inside that folder
Yep, thats me down here...
