Imagine if every Sky-fanboy would say 'Whatever dude' to isso. This forum would be a lot less fun.

Either that didn't happen, or she has deleted the tweet afterwards |

No Chavanel at the Giro, I don't know how you had him confirmed. He'll be resting till Cali, then do the Dauphiné. |

Not exactly news but a painstaking job by vetooo @ammattipyoraily gives us an interesting look at the all time top 100 list for Alpe D'Huez. Some seriously good climbers a few years ago
Alpe d'Huez, All-time TOP 100 list. 1991: 8 riders, 1994: 11, 1995: 14, 1997: 15, 1999: 1, 2001: 5, 2003: 2, 2004: 25, 2006: 18, 2008: 1

A week ago QuickStep announced the first 4 names for the Giro: Chavanel, Cavendish, Brambilla and Golas
Yes, Edgar Poe does amazing things
Notice how there's exactly ONE post 2007 time in the top 100. Sastre's dominant 2008 win.
And zero times pre-EPO

Also a little bit of performance info from the same source for Quintana after all the recent "...from no where", unsubstantiated mud slinging...
Tour de l'Avenir 2010, Risoul (12.8 km, 6.85 %, 877 m). Nairo Quintana: 32 min 38 sec, 23.53 Kph, VAM 1612 m/h, 6.01 W/kg.
Not bad for a youngster
