Cant wait to see what Colombia is capable of. Read in a Colombian Newspaper they are going to be probably with Duarte, Chavez and Atapuma at the Giro. Duarte maybe top 12 at GC, Chavez fighting for the White Jersey (-25 I dont know if its still going to be white for this Year) and maybe Atapuma fighting for KOM. |

I'd say Atapuma is their best card for the GC, actually. That is unless Chaves makes even more progress over the winter.
Duarte has stagnated a bit, imo. Not at all the same kind of talent he used to be.
EDIT: I doubt that they're interested in the GC, though. Stage wins and possibly the KoM jersey are more realistic goals.

maybe small news but Nikolas Maes (OPQS) has suffered a fracture to his left collarbone on traing in Spain. So I think he will miss the team competition on the 15th.

Brajkovic and Intxausti Giro. Cobo as well. Majka too.
Duarte won't be up there. Very few riders are more inconsistent than him. He might be up there one stage or the other but he'll lose several minutes most days. Chaves or Atapuma have a small chance, but not Duarte.

Brambilla might do better this year Giro then last year when he came 12th I think. He will be Omegas man in the Giro aswell, so maybe a top ten is not to far of? |
