Talansky rode last year's Vuelta as well, finishing 79th

Still, from 79th to top 10 is quite an improvement.

He might be awarded the Froome price of the year. |

Not even close.

I still hope Contador drops everyone on the Bola del Mundo, but I doubt it. Still, congrats to Purito and hopefully we'll see him at the Tour next year.
Quintana, Marczynski and Talansky have impressed me, as well as Majka. |

He couldn't even be one of the nominees

Wow, how boring is TdF in comparison. Bonus seconds monsieur Prudhomme!
And on top of everything the Polish guys. Niemiec doing really good, Marczynski amazes a bit (wouldn't bet oin him outclimbing Niemiec) and Majka confirms that rumours of him being 2012 Giro leader were not that much away from truth... |

Rodriguez is so strong, incredible!
What an epic battle between him and Contador... |

I'm sure it provides a nice spectacle, but a climb like this has little to do with cycling. It's artificial, cheapish - something Zomegan would love.
Not a fan. |

What are you talking about? Do you think it's to steep?

Of course. Riders going at 5-6 km/h, some riders having to get off their bikes. Ridiculous.
Next time, they'll take the mountain hikers routes for extra spectacle.

I am not a fan of any of the top three, but i really hope Contador will have one attack which leaves Rodriguez struggling, because his wheel sucking is really pissing me off now |

Why Rodriguez would attack if he can beat in a sprint Contador and he is the leader...it isn't the first time that the leader "administers" his advantage. However I hope also that Contador makes which leaves Rodriguez struggling.

Week 1 - Best week of a GT since '09 (for me)
Week 2 - Wheelsucking takes almost all the excitement out of the race (for me)
Week 3 - Needs Rodriguez to crack for it to become interesting...

Froomebot attempts command: Climb
Cannot compute. Another program is running.
Close program "Contador.exe" to continue.
Error, error. Froomebot has reached maximum capacity.
Emergency shut down.
Internet Explorer has stopped working.
I think the guys at Microsoft programmed the Vuelta GPS.
"Gap is 5 seconds.....12.......15 seconds.....35 minutes........2 seconds...."
Anyway, when a guy comes into a GT short on racing form like Contador did this time, he always gets worse in the 2nd week and much better in the 3rd. There's only one climb in the last week, but with a good day the 25s gap might be possible. Maybe.
We'll see. It's not over yet.

Totally agrees.
Even if i understand the strategy, this wheelsucking is boring.
If Purito is as strong as it looks he should attack and kill contador once for all |

Just rewatch the Ancares stage, and when they arrive to the final 3km, put it at x0.5 speed.

If Purito is as strong as it looks he should attack and kill contador once for all Neither can he take minutes in such a climb nor makes it any sense strategically.
I would stop watching cycling immediately if they ride for the TV (and the stupid spectators asking for more attacks). |
