Early season transfer rumors
Team Sky is reportedly interested in signing Andy Schleck. Dave Brailsford said, that he didn't know the source of this rumor, but he wouldn't rule out the signing the younger Schleck brother.
Mark Cavendish's contract expires, and teams like BMC, and Omega-Pharma Quickstep are apparently chasing his signature. However, Cavendish said, that he would be more than happy to stay at Team Sky.
Cannondale prolonged their contract as a second sponsor for the Liquigas team, and they agreed to pay more for the italian team. That means, that Liquigas's financial resources will be a lot higher next season. There are rumors that Nibali is leaving, but with this money injection, the italian team might be able to keep him and sign some other italian riders, like Cataldo or Pozzovivo

The biggest names here are obviously Basso, Pozzovivo, Menchov and Moreno (also Vinokurov). They'll probably be the main favourites here.
A pretty big break got away, including very strong riders like Nerz, Di Luca, Ulissi. We tried to reel them back, but we were unable to. Katusha tried to help, but the break was too strong. To show an example how strong the pace was, it's enough to say that Basso, Pozzovivo and Vino got dropped. The break was sure of the win with 3kms.
Ulissi wins, after outsprinting his breakaway companions Chiarini and Di Luca, while the reduced pack almost catched them. Mellberg got 5th, after losing out to Vicioso in the group sprint. Clemson gets 7th and Gömböcz took the 8th.
1 | Diego Ulissi | Lampre - ISD | 5h00'36 | 2 | Danilo Di Luca | Acqua & Sapone | s.t. | 3 | Riccardo Chiarini | Androni Giocattoli - Venezuela | s.t. | 4 | Ángel Vicioso | Katusha Team | + 27 | 5 | Jan Mellberg | SpiderTech - Cervélo | s.t. | 6 | Daniele Pietropolli | Lampre - ISD | s.t. | 7 | John Clemson | SpiderTech - Cervélo | s.t. | 8 | Máté Gömböcz | SpiderTech - Cervélo | s.t. | 9 | Leonardo Bertagnolli | Lampre - ISD | s.t. | 10 | Daniel Moreno | Katusha Team | s.t. |
Clemson - 1
Mellberg - 1
Gömböcz - 1 |

The CT races won't get tooo much coverage. WT races will be the same as the TdU, and the GTs will be even more detailed, as well as the monuments. If you want I could do more detailed reports, but it's hard for events like Lugano where nothing interesting happens and is a formraising event or 1.1. events. Omloop and K-B-K were also pretty uninteresting, I planned them to be a bit longer, but there was simply nothing happening.
Manx, they'll both start in Trentino.

No, there fine, but maybe one more screen as I'm still reading the intro when out of the corner of my eye I see the finish.

Okay, next race is Strade Bianche, I'll do it with one or two more screens, and afterwards the WT races are coming, with more details.

Oh, so close! You'd probably rather seen victory and no other in top ten than 3 in top ten and no victory but still, great result
Can't beat the Gorilla
PS All right, change the name, we don't want anyone to get emotional here. We'll keep it in the same atmosphere and name him: Alex DeLarge (who knows what I'm referring to? )
