It's only a matter of time!

Tour of Britain KoM 2007: Ben Swift

btw Both of the Schleck brothers won one (semi)classic. Still not much, but at least they're in the history books.
I think liege is a lot more than just a semi-classic
That's why I used (). One won a classic, the other a semi-classic. |

I would rather say one was a classic while the other was a monument.
How hard can it be?

That's correct, excuse me. |

Notice the absence of Horner who has been left out due to a back injury - https://velonews.competitor.com/2012/0...nce_223276 |

14? Isn't that a lot for a preselection? Does JB think about keeping the Schlecks out or what?

Popovych will play very important roll on the flat stages so I don't expect him to miss the cut, Gallopin is a good talented rider but I don't think Bruyneel will take him as he can't really bring an extra to the team..

Andy won't go without Frank.
Both Schlecks go either way, I think.
Voigt also
Cancellara
Monfort
And I'm guessing Fuglsang, too.
Don't know the rest, though. |

I am pretty sure there are 7 guys which will go for sure..
Andy
Frank
Cancellara
Kloden
Voigt
Fuglsang
Popovych
and then it's between..
Monfort/Zubeldia/Gerdemann
Gallopin/Irizar/Rast
Monfort and Gallopin should go IMO.

I think Gerdemann should go really, unless there saving him for later in the year perhaps?

He's healed all right, but he's not in his best shape yet, I think. |

Leaving the Schlecks at home and take Klöden as leader would be best i think. Impossible to do of course, but with Klöden they would get at least a top10 in gc i think, which i'm not sure Frandy will be able to achieve. |

I was thinking the same but with Fuglsang instead of Klöden |

or both of them. withou the schlecks, there would be no presure on the team and noone would expect any work from them. so they could deside about their leader after the first hard stages just by looking who's doing better. |

Then Andy practically won't have raced at all this year |
