The .tga file called Cyc_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00_D is the default template, so its unnessesary to edit that one for changing the face.
As far as i'm aware its all the .dds files named:
Ctk_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00_N, Cyc_Corsai_XXXXXX_00_N, Cyc_Handle_XXXXXX_00_N, Cyc_leggin_XXXXXX_00_N and the one called Cyc_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00_N.
You can't change the face geometry which I assume would be in the .nif files. But the one thing you can change is the wrinkles of the face, like the plis does to the jersey Grin

PS: also, when I use the cyclist viewer from cyanide, the model rider is all black, why? do you know how I can resolve it?

ok if i wanted to do what you said and mess with the wrinkles how does one do that in paint if you can help thanks .

Okay, if you want to edit the wrinkles of the face, then just open one of the .dds files in for example paint.net (I use gimp). There's no real tecniques for doing this if you don't know how to work with these terrains files (neither do I). So just try to edit for example wrinkles at the nose, at the jaws, under the eyes and so on. Try to use the smudging tool and try to repaint with the original color Grin

can someone help me?? when i install the faces and go ingame pro cycling manager says: PCM has stopped working.
i got the same with the teampacks (equipment)Frown

Andy do u have understanding of niffiles and dds ? im dying trying to make the normal cap look backwards.. can u do that ?

Which normal cap are you talking about? because the one on the podiums is not a cycling cap like the one ou posted on the photo

dds is just a normal picture. You can convert between TGA and DDS as often as you want.
Nif is 3D models and different of course. Wink

Anyway, I think that in order to have a good resembling face, the model for faces should be plain and more flat instead of geometrical, like in older versions of PCM , so that the faces can be well printed on the face and not on a predefined model...

What do you mean about backwards? Like turning it 180 degrees? If so you have to edit the .nif file of the cap, and I can't figure out how to edit .nif files. Sorry Sad

I think its the one in the viewer which is placed in the helmet folder.. it should be possible to wear that in game i guess ? Otherwise i want to create a cycling cap which is very difficult Sad

Drago is it possible for us to make the faces more flat ? was cogneto on the right track looking at the dds files ?

look how the wiggins facestructure all of sudden did change.. what happens if we change the dds file to a more plain face ? eiditing the "little" face in the left corner as cogneto showed
