Armstrong finish in the group with Hincapie. Well done by Lance too.
Hey Biathlon, you know what is interesting that happened today. Well you see, this guy named Fabian Cancellara won the race, when he attacked his rival Tom Boonen on the hardest climb in the route.
Translation: Shut the fuck up about Armstrong. Talk as much as you like about him during the tour, but today is the day to talk about Cancellara, Boonen, and Gilbert, not Armstrong, Contador, and whoever else you would suck off if you could. |

Paris Roubaix will be pretty exciting this year indeed. Cancellara, unbelievable. But even having been dropped, Boonen was great too.

Biggest winning margin since '83, not bad going.

@DeadPool
I did talk about Cance when he attacked but what more to say? Who expected Armstrong to finish in same group as many of the favourites. It's something to mention.
Words to live by
"What would Lance do?"

Farrar 5th.
Now excuse me. I have to go dig up my pre-season posts saying he'd surprise everyone on the cobbles
And it looked like he got a leadout from Millar there. If so, a brilliant ride by him today. (Well Brilliant even if it wasnt)
And Hammond 7th, hurray for Britain. [/nationalism]
Awesome stuff from Cancellara, great race

I'd say ... I don't see the point in comparing them : they're both the best road bike rider in their respective skills : one for ITT, cobbles, ... and the other in mountain.
But Cancellara is a more complete rider though

Cancellara definately the best rider in the world. Hes got a great acceleration hes amazing on cobbles and tt and has a decent sprtint not to mention he can climb well when he tries aka given the leader role on Saxo. He's just a league above.

I thought it was great that just as Sean Kelly was talking about how it is better to be sat down, you get more power that way, rather than standing up, Boonen began standing on the pedals, Cancellara powered on sat down, theres the gap, race over.

Standing up you get 70% of the power you get sitting down. |

Actually yes but because he was leader there and had good climbing ability. He is the guy that if he works on a certain area of racing i.e. climbing sprinting etc he could be up there with the best. But then he would loose some of his natural ability on the tt. HE's the strongest rider in the world no questions asked.

I wasnt disputing what Kelly said, I was just commenting on how great a timing it was, that Kelly said it, and then Cancellara proved it

What a great race by Cancellara today and I'm very happy that he finally managed to win this classic! It was just a little bit sad that Breschel got so unlucky in the final part of the race but he will be back in Roubaix (I hope)
