Arnaud Démare (FDJ) notches up a second consecutive victory in the Four Days of Dunkirk, taking out Stage Two in the sprint finish.

Don't ask me what else happened, I had to listen to French Commentary to see it live.

2. Van Hummel
3. Sinkeldam
4. Kreder
5. Petit

Petit had the best positioning right behind Demare, but lost ground as soon as he started the sprint.

Another podium for Sinkeldam Shock
Yesterday as well...

I think it's clear Petit is nowhere near level of Demare / Bouhani / Coquard and is very unlikely ever to be.

Yep. He might be consistent due to his positioning, but he clearly lacks what it takes to win, probably let alone to overtake the rider in front.

Fuck, it seems the forum doesn't allow different tweets in one post, that was obviously meant to be a succession of 5 tweets throughout the race...

Segiy Grechyn from Turkey Sekesport make an unreal spurt from the main bunch to the second group #TourDAz

Sergiy Grechyn now attacking the second group. What an energy #TourDAz #Ukraine

Sergiy Grechyn from @TorkuSekesport attack the leaders and make a clear gap in 30 s. #TourDAz

5 km to go Sergiy Grechyn going alone with 5 m. gap #TourDAz

And Sergiy Grechyn wins the race! FANTASTIC AND UNBELIEVABLE SPRINT! #TourDAz

SSJ2Luigi
that is ....
um, uh.

let's hope it is the weak opposition because even I don't buy that

To put it further into perspective: the difference between the break and the bunch seemingly was around 8 minutes.

Indeed, the field isn't strong, but the time gaps are still huge.

Plus, his most notable stage race results are 15th in Beauce 2010 and 16th in Quinghai Lake 2009.

Sayar rides for the same team as Grechyn, no?

So first he bridged a gap of 8 minutes, then attacked and created a gap of 5 minutes?
Can you give the time of these tweets so that we know how long it took him to achieve this.

I surely would've done that, but it's useless.
All those tweets were sent within 30 minutes.

At 12:10PM, they said it were 40k to go.
Gretchyn bridged the 8-minute gap from the bunch to the leaders in 4 minutes based on when they tweeted.
At 12;19PM, they announced the winner.

Gretchyn having an advantage of 5 minutes on everyone isn't possible, the gap was 50 seconds at the finish. They were probably on a bigger group he's been away from far longer anyway.

The fantastic sprint they're talking about can only have happened for second place, Gretchyn finished alone.

Suspicious? Maybe. Starting to really to to not trust this team.
