That's the route. Not even 10 Kilometers. So much for "destruction".
Froome in top condition will destroy Contador tomorrow with 2 min
Contador needs to crack on Ancares for this.IMO Froome will gain 25-30 secs max. at Ancares if Conta doesn't crack and Froome will gain 20-25 secs at ITT at max IMO.

Contador needs to crack on Ancares for this.IMO Froome will gain 25-30 secs max. at Ancares if Conta doesn't crack and Froome will gain 20-25 secs at ITT at max IMO. Tomorrow = Saturday = 20 stage = Mountain Stage = Froome in top condition destroy all with 2 min and beat Armstrong times.
But he's in bad shape, because so many crashes recently,
so bad that many can beat him on TT, but still can run upwards as he can, because he is the greatest talent ever in the mountains.
They were saying the same for Pantani,Contador,Mayo,Armstrong,Schleck and lots of others who doped in past. Also Froome is doping right now.
And the greatest talent ever in mountains? From finishing the Tour even outside top 50,Being passed by sprinters in mountains, abandoning the Giro he suddenly becomes a world class climber and a world class time trialler.Well I know my favourite rider(Schleck) also doped in past but at least he was more talented than Froome IMO.
Froome without doping will be happy the pass sprinters in mountains.

He's not caught yet, so you can't really know. On another side, Contador was.

It's kinda funny reading Froome's fanboys' comments He hasn't beaten Contador the whole year and now when he got a 15 sec gap everyone declares him the superfavourite and the 'greatest climbing talent' ever I won't say anything about doping suspicions but I'll just tell you to call me when he does half of what Contador has. |

He didn't get caught while he was still riding only because there was an accomplished doping system and because of the scandals around the UCI.
But after that... all chickens come home to roost!
Anyway, not really the thread to discuss this...

Well, the UCI is still not working properly. There are many guys who dope and don't get caught.
Sadly, the doping has always been with cycling and will always be

Same can be said about FIFA and football. And to a larger extent definitely. |

It's kinda funny reading Contador's fanboys' comments He is just one minute ahead, but everyone thinks, that he will destroy Froome again 2 times(TT, Stage 20), even if Froomes actual form is way better than in the first TT. They say that Froome dopes, but they forget, that this argument does not count, when Contador is on the other side. They forget, that all the top athletes dope for sure(with top athletes, i mean at least the top 50 in the world). They also forget, that Froome is a superfavourite, whatever his form is.
P.S.: I am not a "Froome fanboy", but i am just realistic, and i quite dislike Contador.

Please show me where Contador fans have said such a thing, and no, dark_x2012 legitimate response does not imply this.
Literally, most of the discussions surrounds the premise that Froome will take time on Contador on saturday and sunday, paraphrased as "destroying Contador", for example by Arberg27 or Jacdk. Yet however, hardly anybody said that Contador will destroy (meaning taking lots of time) Froome in the two remaining stages. So you're basically complaining about the complete opposite of what people actually talk about: congratulations on missing the point big time.

First I never said anything about doping cuz I think they both doped in the past (not now) but that's my opinion and I don't expect anyone to agree with me.
Second, I never said Contador will crush Froome Spoiler I actually think he'll just follow on Ancares and then limit time loss in TT
Third, the reason I wrote this post was exactly my disagreement with your last sentence (not the PS)

So Froome has used doping from 2011 - 2013 according to you?
Present:
Tinkoff-Saxo - AG2R - Colombian riders
Past:
Francisco Mancebo - Illes balears - Carlos Sastre - Kelme - Robbie McEwen

Ok...you wanted proof, you got it down below
gravus wrote:
Lol, I can bet Contador will gain time on Froome both on mountain and TT. He beat froomebot by a minute in the last TT, same will happen now.
This one minute difference was "destroying" Froome, because Froome is the better Time-Trialist. And one minute is very much for almost 10 kms, don't you think so, too?
Edit: My post wasn't missing the point. My post was about the fact, that guys who praise Contador as a god, call others "Froome Fanboys"... thats missing the point.

On my opinion yes BUT I don't hate him for that. Actually I don't hate any rider for doping cuz I don't think there is a good rider who's been clean for the whole of his career.
I simply find it suspicious how a nobody becomes the best in world. |

Don't you think that Froome is a superfavorite? He has a very bad form and is still 2nd with just one minute down...Hell even Valverde and Purito count as favorites...and that makes Contador and Froome superfavorites

And no I don't think Froome will beat Contador because they're EQUALLY talented and Conta is in better shape + the gap is in favour of the Spaniard, who'll just follow
