First off I would like to thank everyone the participated this year.
It was by far the most amount votes this contest has ever received.
Just the fact we have reached 78 pages is a strong indication of that.
Here are a few more interesting numbers as the competition comes to a close:
- A grand total of 4,517 votes were made during the entire contest.
- There were no ties, so I never had to vote.
- 2  Peter Sagan takes the honor of receiving the most votes during a single match-up against 15  Andreas Klöden in the 1st round with 64 votes.
- 6  Pierre Rolland is on the other end of the spectrum getting the fewest amount of votes in a round with 15 against 2  Vincenzo Nibali in Round 3.
- The biggest surprise of the tournament has to be 5  Nairo Quintana reaching the Semi Finals or you could go with 8 John Degenkolb taking out
1 Thomas Voeckler in Round 2 but then Quintana came in and beat him.
- 51 Votes in the Finals to crowned a New Champion for 2013.
