And about today, i am rooting for Rodriguez to show he is not so bad in TT and holding to the win, followed by Hesjedal and De Gendt. Anyway it will be funny if someone will still insist on claims that Giro field is something different than showcase of 2nd tier GC riders/1st tier climbers, this Giro had one of the weakest GT lineups/favourites in bad shape, decline phase, i have ever seen.

Still even if Rodriguez tumbles to place 3 it's amazing that he's in shape for so long.

The final TT has been shortened. It is now 28.2km instead of 30.

I see RCS never learn. Stupid bunch of amateurs.

Apparently, because of problems with the roads condition which supposedly "appeared in the last weeks".

RCS loves to modify whatever stage mid-race just to show their lack of professionalism to the world.
They find it fun.

Well, it's good news for Rodriguez.
Two kilometers less could make the difference.

Rodriguez has apparently crashed while reconning the course. Don't know if it will affect his performance today.

If he loses the Giro, that is.
Sergent smashes Forgetful Rasmussen in first check. +16"
Edit: Miguel MÃnguez loses 2'14" to Phinney. It shows the gaps will be rather small in the TT, so RodrÃguez's chances grow even more.

Rasmussmen leads with 34'06" with Phinney 2nd at over 31 seconds down to him
Having said so, both Kwiatkowski and as Kumazan said Sergent are both faster at 1st check point.

I don't think he'd be fighting for the stage win anyway, but going the wrong way certainly didn't help his chances. |
