There are no stats in this story. It's part of Ian's style
And yeah, amazing win for Willy!

So, 1 more time trial and your only opponent is Frank Schleck?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

sutty68 - He sure has. Surviving the hills is one task ahead now
BikeRoel - Thanks! It was unexpected.
dienblad - Thank you
Csabi13 - like Jesleyh said, there are no stats in this story actually. But if you really want to, I could PM them to you if you'd like
krisa - Thanks. Actually his first of the season!
Schleck96 - He definitely owned your namesake Willy Boss, sounds good
Jesleyh - Part of my style indeed
rogvi97 - I'm not making a video...
Ollfardh - Well, to be fair, also another hilly stage, but that's about the gist of it
Thanks for the massive support! Motivation is a wee bit lower than usual these days, so those comments really help the work
As expected, I won't have time today (very maybe later this evening, but don't count on it), since I just had an exam and I've got an appointment later today. But you can expect this Tirreno - Adriatico to be over before the weekend comes to an end! Thanks! |

TTspecialist - Thanks
Stromeon - Sure hope so!
rogvi97 - Hmm... Thinking about it
MrUfo87 - Thanks a lot!
FreitasPCM - He did all right by me Schleck overestimated himself there for a minute
Daggen - I think you're seriously confusing those two
Well, I'm still hoping to finish Tirreno tomorrow. But before Gent - Wevelgem I'm going to see my dad (only see him once every few weeks), so I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the many comments! Hope I have time soon, I don't want to keep you all waiting. At least one report tomorrow, promise! (But hopefully 2) |

Well, good news (depending on how you look at it), because of the snow that fell this night I had to cancel on my dad. So I'll have breakfast and do the next race! |

Tirreno - Adriatico - Stage 6
One more stage before the finishing time trial!
Lots of hills. Keeping the jersey is priority number 1!
I did some work that was expected of me. After that, my Tirreno was done. The time trial was nothing more than an obligation for me!
I return home with a beautiful stage win!
Today's stage was tough and I couldn't have done it without the team. At the end, two team mates were extremely handy: Costa and Slagter.
They managed to keep the pack together and it ended in a sort of mass sprint. I didn't lose time today!

The final time trial. After 9.4 km, my second Tirreno victory was a fact! Isn't that a reason to celebrate?

This was a great stage race. It feels much better than last years, since I really, really deserved it now, I think. I've worked hard and I fought for it every stage. This is great.
I've got some major, important news for you. I will release it in a press conference between today and Milano - San Remo! Expect to be shocked!
