Incorporated it into the Music Discussion Thread to save space and i see no reason why it would be closed. Its nothing major, just a small bit of fun alongside some music chat

the problem is what Alakagom said, that it will become a spam-fest
I just dont't get the "spam-thing" everybody is complaining about. If a thread is spammed, al that happens is that it's on the top of the front page a bit more often than some other threads.
It's not like you get an email for every single new post on this site. You don't have to read every single post, either. If I've been gone for a while and see I'm 5-6 phes behind on a thread, I just skip them.

how come there be a NHL, NBA, NFL but no MLB thread? that is the only "american sport" I slightly follow.
cause Baseball is boring? monotonous? dull? etc...
Not really. It involves precision, skill, endurance, coordination, and quick thinking. It's a different kind of sport.

Baseball is loads of fun to play, but the waiting time between each play is arguably longer than NFL if you factor in strikes and balls, basically before the batter actually gets a hit.
Then the play will only last about 20-30 seconds again and its back to waiting for something to happen again.
Not to mention theres no time limit like most sports its all based on 3 Outs an inning per team, so a game could take from 2 hours to about 4 hours.

Now that just isnt true.
I was in the USA a few years ago when the World Series was on. Was in a bar one night and it was a great atmosphere. Ok it was long but you only watched the good bits and chatted away the time. Its a social sport

Techniically a pitcher isn't supposed to take any more than 8 seconds between picthes. It just isn't enforced enough.

It's very social when you sit in a stadium with no one you know and all of the sudden someone hits a ball somewhere.
I can understand its fun to watch in bars and stuff. Sounds great anyway
