It's not that you weren't being obvious, I just really don't get how Paul didn't catch on

So I went to the expo on Merckx today. Who should I run into there... Eddy Merckx himself!
Great day
And, I checke. 525 victories is the correct number. |

You lucky man
525.... Wow! Especially in his era.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I didn't want to bother him (because I can only imagine how annoying it must be everyone constantly bugging you), so it was a quick hello, a friendly nod and moving on.
Also saw the former Belgian king there. Not really my big hero, though Merkx was more awesome to see. |

Fair enough, I guess he probably gets enough of that. Still must have been extremely cool to meet him though. |

Yeah. I'm not easily impressed by celebrities. Usually I don't really care, actually. But Merckx is quite a figure. It was amazing to meet him.
I mean, this is basically one of the best athletes in any sport ever |

Does anybody have any idea about why the site went down just then?
Also, I'm back from my race, I came 9th, which I'm quite happy with considering the field. |

With Project Fi i have come to the conclusion that Google is actually Skynet in disguis and will take over the world once it rolls out world wide sometime between now and 2020. Unless Valve completes it's Death Star first now it's got more income through payed-mods. Unless Apple unleashes it's iVirus and turns it's zombies into literal zombies bringing about the zombie apocalypse pop-culture is so obsessed with. Unless Russia/ISIS/North Korea finally snaps and bombs us all to hell.... Basically we are all gonna die sometime between now and 2020, enjoy your final time on Earth people!

Exciting month ahead since my landlord is selling and a new one is taking other and it's unsure wether or not he wishes to continue renting. It's going to go one of two places; either I'm going to get my dream job and be able to keep my apartement, or I'll be both jobless and homeless.
Also; there's a commercial on TV that says "do something nice for someone you don't know" and it shows strangers hugging on the street, etc. However, it ends with some woman peeking through a bedroom door and looking at some fat, bearded Zack Galifafakinakis-looking guy, she walks over to him and starts cuddling him.
I'm pretty sure that's considered attemptet rape in some countries.

There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

Quick question! Since I'm close to finishing my thesis in mid-May and since I'll be unemployed for a while, I figured I might treat myself to something special, perhaps a trip somewhere, maybe Italy or Ireland. Or something else beginning with I... Iraq? Nah, too ethnic.
Then it hit me; the Giro passes through Italy! Do you think it's too late for me to plan a rushed trip so catch a stage or two? Preferably a mountain stage, but one taking place near a large city wouldn't be bad either. Perhaps using Turin as a "base city".

I'll be away for a week starting tomorrow, and since I'm staying somewhere in the Swedish middle of nowhere I can't be reached. If you need me for anything, contact me ASAP.

Talk about something coming out of nowhere, everybody has been saying that today and yesterday I didn't even know that you could say that. |

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen you around!
Just in time for the Giro I guess.
