Two = a team, so a Team story it is |

Two riders are not a cycling team. But reading the story should make it obvious if it is a team story or a rider story. Maybe it does not qualify for any award but awards are overrated anyway. I hope that nobody writes stories or contributes to this community because of the yearly award.

Absolutely not in my case at least, though they are still a nice thing to have attained and i'd be very pleased to have one of mine even nominated

Disagreed.
It's rather obvious to me that it's a one-rider story, with the slight difference of following two riders instead of one. Personal bios, blogs, etc... is included, so to me there's no doubt about that it's about a rider rather than a team.

Well, I'd make a separate category
No, seriously, I always thought of it as a "one rider story", even though it deals with two. It's like Pelli said, it's with blogs etc...
Unless it falls out of category, and then I join up with Lachi, maybe awards are overrated. Though I believe it's always wonderful to receive (any kind of) appreciation for what you're doing or what you've done. |

Look at the SPOTY for example, only athletes of broadcasted events can win, no matter how good the results are or the personality is. I guess some sportsmen have a hard time coming to the event only to be runner up year after year.
I never read stories but I hope you writers get positive feedback from the readers frequently.
That reminds me, nobody ever thanks me for my tools, the only feedback I get is when they find a bug or struggle with using them.
(just joking) |

FreitasPCM: If I had been around then, I would've voted for that, too
Lachi: It's true, what you say But then again, it's nice to have the awards, in my opinion. Hopefully no one will be truly disappointed, but that's not necessary, everyone nominated should be very glad already and those not nominated too, they're the awesome underdog
I'd thank you for your tools if I'd use them, but if I'd use them I'd ask too many damn questions because I couldn't use them properly and that would only cause you trouble |

Moving away from awards for a bit...
I got an invite to Pilot Assessment with FTEJerez as part of a British Airways sponsorship scheme
Over 6,000 people have applied and only 10-20% go to assessment. I applied last year and got to this stage, but no further.

Wow, that deserves an award
On PCM Focus they have their first awards and believe it or not, they have an award: most annoying member. I'm glad we don't have an award like that, that's just sad.

Bring it to Daily and I 've already won it. (But seriously I think a lot of people would vote for me )
PCM Focus still sounds weird to me.
