Thanks Crue
Ashton; I took that picture in my avatar and just resized it So yes I've been. Unfortunately I haven't had time to go this season, the season that they've actually done well
I went a few times last season, but during the period from Christmas Eve until the end of the season, where they never scored a single home goal My god it was hard to support them then

Okay cool - well Man City are rich now haha
They've bought a new team and so on. And they did well before Christmas.. But not that well after .. But still it was a good season for them ..
Yes but real fans stick with their team for better and for worse..
I've never seen a match in PL I really want to..
Is it expensive to watch a game in PL ?
But I've seen FC Barcelona play two times at Camp Nou and it was awesome

Well, For Man City against Blackburn I remember it was £32. You can call that cheap or expensive, it depends what your take is on it
I would guess Man Utd tickets would be more expensive. It's worth it though, whatever the money.
My dad has been to see Man Utd against Real Madrid and Chelsea in the past couple of years, for free in them corporate boxes. My mates dad works for a company and they always give him tickets to football matches to impress clients, because he's friends with my dad, he pretends he's a client and he gets in free
He says that the atmosphere at Old Trafford is amazing.

Okay it isn't that expensive .. Or not in my oppinion
Hehe cool .. I would like that too .. Some free tickets to united games. Yes I know that it's more expensive to watch united games because that stupid Glazer-family
How was the atmosphere at City of Manchester Stadium ?
Completely off-topic but I was at Madison Square Garden in New York with some friends and we watched New York Rangers (Icehockey) and the atmosphere was simply amazing .. It was crazy and we paid 125 $ to watch the game but it was worth it.. I could imagine that I would have the same oppinion towards ticket prices for a United game |

Well City fans aren't exactly enthusiastic. I went to City vs Blackburn last season we ended up losing 3-0 but when the 2nd went in with about 20mins left, literally 15,000 people got out of their seats and left. It was like a synchronised seat-bang
But when they get into singing "Blue Moon" the atmosphere can lift

Hm okay it could have "destroyed" some of the atmosphere that Man city lost 3-0
Yes I've seen that on TV from some of the PL-games.. If the home team is behind late in the match their fans tends to leave stadium with 20-10 mins left
Demanding fans but that's just the way it is..
Do you live near Manchester ? |

I live about 1.5 hours away. It's not that bad to get to, but when I get to around 18 I'm going to live in Manchester itself so I can be as close as possible

Manchester has a good univertsity. Salford university; my sisters off there. It's a rough area but the university is nice.
They obviously have football.
There's the Velodrome for track cycling.
There isn't really much in Manchester but the few things it does have are ok

Back to topic:
Chelsea wants Scolari as manager now .. Lippi turned them down ..
Xabi Alonso from Liverpool negociates with Juventus and a transfer could be close ..
Angel Torres (Owner and President of Getafe) wants to sell the club.. There are potential buyers from England.. The price is about 29 million £ B) |

Henk ten Cate has been fired by Chelsea, apparently.
And Jens Lehmann is complaining again. This time, he is unhappy with the balls that they are using for Euro 2008.

Hm why did they fire him :S Maybe a sign that Rijkaard is not gonna be the new Chelsea manager..
Haha Lehmann is whining all the time. These days he doesn't do anything else.. He made a huge mistake in the match against Belarus

Paulo Assunção has now left FC Porto under the Webber law... If anyone's looking for a good defensive midfielder, he's your guy...
Also, Scolari's agent apparently was seen in Manchester...

Seems like the days of glitz and glamour in the Premiership/Premier League may be dampened somewhat by Sepp Blatter's latest proposal that FIFA voted in favour of: The 6 + 5 rule, meaning that teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham may have serious problems - they can only field 5 foreigners. Of course, this law would affect other leagues as well, but the impact would surely be greatest in the Premier League.
Blatter wants it in place for 2012/2013. The EU is, of course, completely against it because it violates the rights of movement and right to work in EU countries. So it may never become a reality, but you never know... |

It won't become reality. EU will stop it for sure. |

I expect the EU will, but there could be some kind of compromise put in place where the number of non-EU players will be limited to the same amount in all leagues. |

It wont just be Portugal, there are quite a few leagues in Europe where Brazilians ply their trade. Bad for them, I guess.
And you never know if the EU will stop it, because they backed the homegrown players rule in the champions league. From next season 8 players in the matchday squad have to be from the country of the club. |
