That sounds great even though I thought Mühlberger would join Gourmetfein or what the name is.
But having a "contract" for 1-2 years should give all their talents the needed time to make the next step.
With Bauhaus/Bennett it will be hard for Krieger anyway to go on his own in many races. But in especially in some smaller Belgium Classics I see him getting a free role, while the two others probably lead them in most bigger and German races. Don`t think that Bauhaus will acchieve a lot against WT teams but you never know. He was pretty promising last season getting a couple of nice wins. |

He will As I said the pre contracts are for 2016, and both of them can ride as trainees with them from August again, until then though they will ride on CT teams, like Mühlberger with Gourmetfein and Kreiger with still unknown team I guess.
Talking about Germans, Julian Kern (AG2R) retires at 24.

Ah. Now I understand your point.
This is not that ideal then for Krieger as I had hoped he will go for some PCT team this season and except for Bora I don`t think he will get one. So eventually back to CT for this season and then PCT in August.
Julian Kern is really sad news. He was promising in some races and I liked his attacks a lot. |

I would have really liked to see Julian Kern giving his WT experiences to riders at Stölting/LKT/Teams Stuttgart or any other german CT-Team or even Bora-Argon 18 |

Haven't seen it mentioned here yet, Jan Hirt to CCC. Martin Reimer, former German champ, returns to his homeland to ride for LKT.

So Bauer and Zepuntke to fill the remaining 2 spots in Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling. Zepuntke is a bit of a surprise.
https://www.slipst...in-roster/
I'm happy that Garmin is staying as a title co-sponsor and hope new team kits will be good looking.
About the roster, though, I liked the 2014 roster more. A bit too many youngsters, that will not show their best at the WT level in 2015 and may well leave the team before they reach their peak. And the only older riders that have joined- Ted King and Marangoni- are really below par WT riders IMO.
The loss of guys like Farrar and Vansummeren is not balanced short-term, and long-term, who knows where most of these talented young guys will be riding in 3 years time. There's no certainty Cannondale will be the team that will benefit from them. |

Jasha Sutterlin sings a 2 year extension with with Movistar. He had one more year on the deal, meaning he'll be with them till end of 2017.
Valverde, Quintana and Dowsett are other 3 riders in Movistar with contracts till end of 2017. ( not many 3 year contracts in cycling around, shows good commitment from sponsors which is a good thing )

Horner finds a new team, will be revealed in next days.
Lampre signs....Tsagbu Grmay...I am sure everyone saw this coming Grmay had a poor season, only highlight being winning Ethopian RR race..which means we'll see a cool Nats jersey next year.

So one of my favorites joins GreenEdge in 2015, making the next big step in his young career after a quite good year spent half in Australia, half Europe. Watch out for Jack Haig, he has the potential to become a quite solid stage racer on WorldTour-level!

One week ago still asking for it, now there are news:
Alexander Krieger and Jan Dieteren sign for Leopard Development Team.
While this is probably a step for both, this is another blow for Stölting of course, who lose another nice rider.
For Krieger it`s not that different imo as his focus is still the Belgium classics, which was the same with Team Stuttgart. But the structure at Leopard should be a bit more professional I think.

Oh man, that's great! He had a pretty good season. Can't wait to see how he goes.

Haig will join Orica in 2016 though. He'll join U23 Australia Academy in 2015.

Any source? Cause he already rode for the Academy in 2014 and both cyclingnews as well as peloton café (pretty good source for Aussie cycling) speak of Orica for 2015. The "Café" just posted a fake picture of him in Orica-colours as well.
