No competition for Andre Greipel, who is doing a great job of getting himself over these climbs to stay in these lead groups. |

And Pozzato is caught unfortunatly.
André Greipel wins another stage of this Tour of Turkey. Easy win for him. |

I have to say he might become a serious candidate to win the Green Jersey in this year's Tour de France. |

Because of winning in Turkey? Axel pls!
Just kidding, he is fast as hell, but Sagan, Goss and Cavendish are much bigger candidates if going for it imo. Actually i cant see anyone beating Sagan, but that is me.

Goss, if he doesn't improve shape, he's fucked. Not big result's so far this year imo. |

Goss won one of the two sprints in Tirreno. The only race that had a top sprinting field so far.

Since when did Goss become a better sprinter than Greipel? |

To me, Goss is a question mark, he's shown great potential but so far he has yet to really convince.
Greipel is riding incredibly strong lately on hills etc, but his sprinter doesn't seem to be what it once was, to be honest... Of course, I could be mistaken.
But if Greipel would want the Green Jersey, he should be faster than Cavendish or better over hills than Sagan... (or have a lot of luck) |

Again good sprint from Arndt, easily second without Pozzato dropping like a stone directly in front of him.
Inb4 Alakagom: Tour de Bretagne starts today.
I'm prepared for 7 stage wins by Zabel, so don't worry if I won't confirm every single one right away.

If Cavendish continues to ride like in Tour de Romandie i cant see him winning the Green Jersey. He cant get over a bump right now. So he could only get points at totally flat stages. |

I think it is more an issue of Goss being a better climber, so he would lose points on the flatter stages but gain them back on some of the tougher ones.
That said, Sagan is going to win green again so it isn't even worth discussing

Dupont has been on good form lately and is a very solid all-round rider so he should be someone to watch for this.

While I partly agree with you, Meersman said in an interview that Mark Cavendish had a mechanical before the last "bump". |

Good to see Trentin back from that injury at Omloop. Greipel without much competition.

Word is he was far in front with 200 metres to go, but decided to gift the best positions to riders with less potential, knowing he'll collect countless victories in the upcoming years anyway

Not better in general, but more suited to battle the green jersey imo. Greipel cant do much without his train and he will never jump the break on the mountain stage, i think Goss can and is better on hills. But we will see in July, if Gossy is also going for it...
