There's something weird going on with firefox on this computer.
Some random words (only some that'd translate to English I'd say, but some adds are in French) are underlined and get a link to some random adds. I also get frequent intersticial adds (blank pages where you need to click "skip"), and some other java adds like white rectangles appear here and there when loading pages.
I don't think it happens with Internet Explorer, that I barely use anyway, nor or another computer with the very same add-ons (adblock plus, ghostery, no script, etc.).
Of course, I've erased all the cookies, used my antivirus, used spybot, ad-aware, MRT, etc. Several times for each of them, but with no effect. I also cleaned the computer with ccleaner + ccenhancer.
Task manager doesn't show any special task that'd be running in the background.
I'm not sure what's causing this, nor how to get rid of those.
And no, I don't think I've browsed "dangerous" sites, nor installed shabby softwares, so I'm a bit clueless. It's been lasting for 3 or 4 months I'd say.

What Luigi says. Some websites have advertising that underlines words and makes products appear. If it happens on unusual website though (for example PCMDaily) then it might be something on your PC.
Check your extensions in your browser. If both of these things don't work, it might be adware of some sort.
If you're convinced it's on your pc and you want to get rid of it, normally I'd recommend a system restore but since it's been there for 3 or 4 months a system format and full reinstall might be the way to go.
Thanks guys.
Yes, it appears on any website. For example, after my message above, firefox got underlined like if it had a link behind.
I've identified the culprit : browser companion helper.
I thought spybot used to remove it in the past, but apparently not, or not successfully. Let's get rid of the bastard now.
Home from London and slowly recovering from the cold I got from being there
Stumbled upon a shop where I could buy tickets to Chelsea - United, but this was 30 min before the game, so I decided not to. In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't waste an awful lot amount of money on that game. Not just because of the hideous result, but also because of the poor display of football (which I did get to see since I had plenty of channels to choose form on the hotel TV ).
@Crue
Should have gone to a pub. I made the trip up, found one, settled in and had a great time even though the game was poor.
And the QPR-Fulham match was good as well...
