LOL Quemeneur got the combative award. Vanbilsen?
Vanbilsen wheelsucked the whole breakaway.
The first main reason is, Quemeneur is French and Vanbilsen is from Flemish region.

Sagan sorry 2agan isn't the best tactically, he's one of the strongest riders in the peloton but does lack a little tactically
There is literaly one stage in the Tour where he actually had a team around him. One stage in his whole career.
And still 24 podiums.
I wonder if he will ever be in team built around him, with useful riders. Who deserves it better?
It's why I'm such a fan. His whole palmares he achieved alone. Him. Not his team.

I must admit, I have also become a huge Sagan-fan in the Tour. He had been much better off just riding on a one man team considering he has to look after Bertie.
I think what Strydz wanted to say is that he tactically maybe is a little bit better than Sagan, but its also a little easier in races such as San Sebastian, Fleche and L-B-L (although that was his most impressive win ever imo) than days such as this. Remember, everyone was looking at Valverde at L-B-L as well, but he managed screw Katusha especially royally in the end of the day |

Absolutely. In fact you don't want anything too good happening to you at all otherwise tomorrow it's curtains. Everyday there is a major reversal of fortune, yellow jersey and beyond. |

I am not sure if that answers the question of how many races he lost because of bad tactics.
I agree that Sagan is not great tactician as i said few times already ,but i still wonder what bad decision he made today? It would be also interesting to see Valverde riding without a team, because that is what Sagan has whole career. And lastly, how many monuments had Valverde under his belt when he was 24 years old?

Well, he already had a 3rd in a Vuelta and a 2nd in WC. |

ARD in germany didn't even show Tony crossing the line. They cut to some random show directly after Stybar won.

Sagan did not make a bad decision today. Same when Gallopin won last year. Problem is he's alone with 30 riders on his wheel. one teammate and he wins those stages.

I agree with that totally, Valverde is smart (ofc he made some stupid moves in his career too, like several WC races), but i like strong riders better then smart.

Well Sagan is 25 tho, Valverde won L-B-L and Fleche as a 25-year old, so for sure its about time for Sagan now. |
