Jérôme Coppel and Florian Guillou both had great rides today, the Aussie sunshine must suit them.
Just need to control the next stage for a dream start to the season.

Simon Yates, you beautiful man. Always comes up with the goods in the hills.
Still have nobody in the top 100 on GC though.
Surprising ride by Dyball in Australia, finishing top 10 in a mountain stage was not what I bought him for but it'll do. Hopefully the young riders' classification is coming home. Dennis may actually win something guys.

No! Way to far back. Guess I couldn't expect better. Sylvain isn't that great in the mountains, so 6th GC I guess, I'll pray that Kenny de Haes can take the next stage, maybe the points standings.

Last stages added. You'll also get a ranking update later tonight. |

Great race for LIUCPMAPRHNATSH. TVG doing what he should and Kelderman slightly above expecation. Add in a couple of extra stage results from Madrazo and Brambilla, and the Team Ranking and our season is right on track.

Some solid points by Contador. He did good, claiming third and points jersey. Pleased to see him ahead of Quintana.
I miss seeing Gazprom being shit half the season.
Another Yates.

Pais Vasco went catastrophal for us. I hoped that Geschke or a breakaway would bring us sth.
I think going all out for sprints has not been the very best idea...
Brilliant back-to-back Yates wins there!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

A good Basque country tour for us there. Very content with the way VDB is performing for us, Leukemans brought us our first win here, great race for us. Plenty of teams can leave that race with a good feeling.
Thanks Bikex for churning out these stages at a great pace. I am really looking forward to March where we have a whopping 8 races to look forward to! The WC will finally be let loose after four months in the waiting. |

Well, Pais Vasco didn't end too well for us. But 4th in GC plus a stage win and a few days in the leading position give Ecopetrol a massive boost in the rankings.
Congrats Silvio, you were damn right about Kwiatkowski. He really dominated those first two months.
March could be a good month for Ecopetrol with Quintana competing at Vuelta a Tachira and Betancur making his debut at Strade Bianche.

Adam as well
What an incredible performance. I was dreading this race and I thought we were going to score nothing but 2 stage wins, a second place from Josh and the KoM will do.
Dyball keeps doing well. Top 10 on a summit finish followed by a top 10 in a bunch sprint.
We've had an incredible month.

Don't forget Kwiatkowski yet. It's gonna be pretty hard to make up so much time, but I believe in our youngster. I just hope he won't drop further in the upcoming stages...
Who told you? Who told you?
Damn, I'm flattered. so good I didn't sell him in the transfer season. There have been two WT-stage races already and he won both of them. Even beating Contador and Quintana in Pais Vasco. I'd give him a 5-year contract if I could...
- 1 Michał Kwiatkowski Gazprom Cycling Team POL 1103
∧ 2 Alberto Contador Liberty Seguros - Würth ESP 409
That's quite some margin
And that I'd say is pretty funny:
1 | Andrea Guardini | Saeco - Cannondale | 1h14'54 | 2 | Adam Blythe | Eurosport - Pepsi | s.t. | 3 | Dario Cataldo | Saeco - Cannondale | s.t. | 4 | Julien Simon | Eurosport - Pepsi | s.t. | 5 | Marco Marcato | Saeco - Cannondale | s.t. |
Aaaand THIS is just not funny anymore, but has to be the work of the Illuminati:
Teams Continental Tour18 | 8 | Lukoil Development Team | U23 | 136 | | - | Gazprom Cycling Team | WT | 136 |

As one of our focus races National Capital tour was a dream for Eurosport-Pepsi. We managed a stage win and three second places, GC win, KOM win, Team win and second in the Points competition...
... and we are still behind Saeco - Cannondale in the rankings!
Having a great time so far, let's hope our luck can last .

Great Pais-Vasco from Rui Costa with eins and a GC 2nd. Disappointed he didn't take the overall but good start to the season for him in the WT.
