With 170km to go Gutierrez caught up to the leading group which is now 8 riders

With 35km to go Gutierrez and Garate attacked from the breakaway.

Another slightly disappointing individual performance from valverde, great team effort though!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"

Gutierrez is in the breakaway once again. The leading 7 has a lead of 1.28.

With 200km to go the leading group of 16 had a lead of 9.21. It is starting to become a massive lead!

When the leading group of 16 hit the more hilly part of the race they had 6.01 on the peloton.

Well we got the top 5 we wanted. Valverde had a great race he just didn't have it all in him. I won the sprint in the peloton which is always good. However the place I got was 22nd. Still a good top 5 for Valverde. He deserved it and a great race overall from the team. Next up I think we have the Tour de Romandie.
