As an Aussie I can pretty much confirm everything he's just said, living in the inner suburbs there aren't too many big spiders and I've only ever seen a shark at the aquarium. Seen a few snakes though, and most of them are kinda dangerous. The real danger is dropbears

@Australia discussion
I can definitely attest to the webs fact. Hard to walk around in any yard without running into one.
@Heroes discussion
I was lucky enough to be in the Sydney FC youth setup, and we got to train with the first team a couple times. Unfortunately Del Piero wasn't there, and I don't really look up to anyone else, apart from someone called Joel Griffiths, so meeting him was cool. It was also fun being slide tackled by Shannon Cole, who plays for Western Sydney now. He's the guy that sent them into he final of the Champions League.

And then there is New Zealand where there are only two ways to die that will surprise you, being murdered or hit by a car/truck. Next time anyone is planning a trip to Aussie you should come down here. Cycling here is beautiful but you need to be careful cause a lot of road users here are absolute twats and for some reason don't like cyclists.
When I was in Aussie we were in some animal place which has birds and reptiles and my brother almost stepped on a copperhead which came across the oath from the bushes. Turns out they are quite venomous. That was in Melbourne. In Tasmania didn't see anything dangerous but did get to see Platypi which are my favourite animals, so awesome. Also caught a trout while in Tasmania which was awesome although smaller than in New Zealand. I found the more wary you are the worse, the same in South Africa with Snakes and Sharks.

I guess you could meet a shark or killer whale in NZ at times even though this is not happening a lot and probably even more rare to end deadly.
At least you won't get killed by possums or rabbits. |

No one had been killed by an Orca whale. Someone was actually killed by a shark either early this year or last year at a beach where I have swum at in the past.

Some weeks ago I was watching a docu in TV about crazy animal behaviour.
One part was about the Kea, who seems to kill sheeps from time to time.
So you have a real killer bird on your Island. |

A Kea could never kill a sheep. A Kea is like a big cheeky parrot and a sheep is quite large. So good luck to the Kea in that one. We do have white tail spiders which aren't very nice but they aren't deadly, their bites/stings just hurt and itch like hell, not that I have encountered their weapon of pain.

Watch this then.
They are picking them to get some of the flesh. |

Does each thread of the week creator now deserve their own unique sig?
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

But cycleman was the first to do it and that was when Ian did the weekly news, can't blame that on TMM

Being proud at creating a general thread that anybody else would have made probably the same day? I won't call it that much of an achievement. I can see how you see that as an achivement, seeing how over half of your signature is either non-going or non-caring
ddit: yes I know I have non active stuff in my signature aswell but those aren't games, rather old stories as advertising something unique that has been done.

Shannon Cole slide tackling a kid? Can't say I'm surprised. I don't expect any better from someone who goes on to play for the Wanderers
I'm guessing you were there before the Og-Monster came in though? Meeting him would be terrifying/hilarious.

Keas are so funny, they just don't give a shit about what people around them do. So social. If they could talk and drink, I'd want to go to a pub with one.

That person had to have abandoned their car for quite some time
There is no way they could be near the car and allow such a thing to happen

Edit: Or he is even driving through the herd, just very slowly...
