Hahaha, he should definitely attack Contador with 2'30" advantage.

Not too shabby for Mollema in the end. I guess he's in for another top 10 this year

Kwiat is riding smart tactically just as last year. |

Kwatkowski will get white jersey which would have gone to Talanksy had he not crashed. |

Was hoping for more from Valverde. Maybe its finally the year where he shows a decline. After all he's getting quite old. This stage should have suited him well. This reminded me of the Vuelta in 2012, except that Valverde wasn't up there with Contador.

Talansky is too old for the white jersey. |

Talansky is not eligible for that.

Talansky isn't eligible for the white jersey anymore but barely over a month.

Sorry for that. I was caught out because I remember last year he was wearing it for Quintana. |

Someone should make the Stage 9 thread. Also, in the past people would make the next days stage thread moments after the current days stage ended. Now you are lucky if theres a thread made before the actual stage even starts...

Good initiave by Tinkoff-Saxo, pacing so hard over the hills. Majka, Rogers & Roche did a solid job for Bertie, who has stated previously that the climb doesn't suit him so much, which I think is true. But still, his legs are here and the form is right. Monday should be a goodie.
Overall, stage was way better than I thought due to Tinkoff-Saxo racing and the weather. Feel bad for cactus-jack now. Fantastic win by Kadri, pure peak performance! By the way, german ES commentators said that Betancur is not to renew contract with AG2R for sure... I guess that was coming a long time.
Also, nice showing by Pinot - hadn't expected him to finish so high. GC fight will be a goodie this year, I'm confident of that. Too bad for Talansky though.
