Why the sad faces? The guy has accomplished all his goals as a pro cyclist and now leaves the sport to do something more rewarding to him. Good luck I say.

A very unusual attitude to find in a professional sportsman. But a very healthy one in a human. I hope he enjoys his life |

So he want to ban riding 3 GTs in one season
And the thing about coach, doctor and sports director for every 7 riders, a good idea but that will make most teams limit riders to under 28 (so about 10*2 World Tour riders out).

Great ideas Pat. What else were you thinking about during your first two terms ? Perhaps promoting cycling in rich developing countries against briberies ? |

Valverde321 was last seen boarding a plane for france with a Glock 9mm and repeatedly muttering 'If I can't have him then no one can'

At least he has finally come around to reason on revenue sharing, which is the only thing that can guarantee team stability. But yeah she idiotic things there.

Christina Watches - Onfone to merge with another CT-team to form a PCT team aiming to participate in the Giro. The new team will not be registered in Denmark.
The deal has apparently come through Stefan Schumacher and CWO will contribute Schumacher and 7 Danes to the project. They still need to sign the 6 Danes, but mentions one or more riders leaving Saxo.
Any good guesses as to who the other team might be?

RCS is way too clever to touch Christina Watches with the riders they have had on that team since they started. Rasmussen (not anymore), Schumacher, Zaballa
I mean it has never stopped them inviting Androni but they are Italian and so there are other reasons to bring them along.

Exactly my thought. Apart from the fact that Michael Rasmussen (who still co-owner of the team) has talked about the Giro right from day 1 of the project it could perhaps be an indication that it's a team with a lot of Italians?
That or one of the German teams considering that Schumacher is the one establishing the contact
