He will win this one. Or has a better chance than Arroyo.

This my good fellows calls for a head-to-head bet. Someone make this happen and let the PCM$ decide. |

It was bizarre to turn on the TV and seeing those pink Lampre men casually floating along in their little boat... |

Purito didn't seem good today. I'll bet on an outsider, Samuel Sanchez.
He seemed fine to me. Stayed with his team without problems, while others (including Moreno) struggled.
Katusha were expected to lose time anyway.

On a small climb he lost there a meter or two. May not be enough to judge tough. |

Just before Moreno lost a couple of meters, Purito looked a little bit in trouble on a small climb. But, as I've said, might not be enough to see if the shape is there. |

He hasn't raced since the Giro. It's normal he doesn't go well on his first race day in 3 months |

He was ill for a couple of weeks and hanst been racing in months, thats also why he said he is going to work for Pozzovivo. He is only aiming Stage wins so we might see him losing every day some time so that he is allowed to get in breakaways.

Oh... Let's hope he increases his form quickly as he's good enough to fight for some stage wins. |

He is thirty so somehow I doubt it... His future is probably another 5 years max.
But still, great to see PCM Daily holding it

After watching the stage again I'm almost sure it was him who went to grab Moreno near the end and pull him back to the train again, so he must be alright |

Hoping Pozzovivo will not lose too much time today, so he can make up for that on the steeper climbs.

Today, my mind is on a breakaway. But between the GC contenders, my mind is on Valverde and Purito. And Martin is superior to Arroyo, no doubt about that. But who knows, I might be wrong. |

I'd say today's climb suits him quite well. The final 2 km are 7-8%, and it's unlikely that any big favourite will go earlier.
